Org ran out the back door. He looked around until he saw an alley. Then he hid.

Emily turned to spirit form and floated up against the roof.

People walked in to the library, and though Akona didn't recognize the uniforms, they were police. They were there because someone had broken into the library.

Org stayed in the alley.

Emily watched them curiously.

They began to walk around and look for whoever had broken in. Akona slowly slid back farther into the vent, hoping she wouldn't be noticed.

Org prayed that nobody would find him.

Emily watched them, careful not to speak or breath too loudly.

"Remember," said one of them, "They could be invisible." Akona made sure to stay as silent as possible.

Org tried his best to hear if anything was happening but he was too far away.

Emily was confused. How did they know that people of Malem were coming here?

(They don't, there's also magical creatures outside of Malum, they just aren't evil type magical creatures.)
Akona held her breath and froze as one if the people came near the vent in which she was hiding. She hoped with her heart that they wouldn't look inside. Unfortunately for Akona, luck was not on her side and the guy shined a light in the vent. He said something to her but she wasn't listening. She had gotten up and was running though the vent away from him. -
Org decided to go back and check on the others.
(I told ya he's dumb.)
