( it’s fine Tasha, Kronk is just sensitive.)
Kronk gently pet the cat, very carefully. The elf returned with her food, -
"You are very gentle, " Charles said, closing his mouth before he could say 'for an orc'. He didn't want to seem rude, and he usually didn't let people pet Amare so being mean would just make things awkward. Of course whether or not Kronk would take that personally was beyond the white-haired boy. "Prince Arthur, what is you're plan?" He asked quietly.
-
“...I- I do not have one.” He revealed quietly.
“I’m sorry, you didn’t think to come up with a plan before dragging us out of hiding!?” Clariel said angrily with a hushed tone,
“ I didn’t want to risk your safety to Lysander,” he mumbled.
“ Kronk understand, Kronk want to protect everyone too! That’s why Kronk make Body Bard.”
( ironically someone is playing bag pipe music rn.) -
Azura just scoffed at that fact that he had no plan and left outside. Gabriel said "Well we must think of something. We can't just sit here and do nothing. Maybe if we all clear our minds."
-
Savanna chuckled and shook her head. "Well maybe we can work on one. You should know your brother better than the rest of us, what can you tell us about him? I don't mean career, weaknesses, or why he's like this. I mean basic things. Fears, pet peeves, desires, habits, likes, dislikes, etc. Maybe I can think of a basic outlook of what kind of things we can expect." Savanna suggested.
-
Charles just quietly pet Amare, letting her grip onto his finger in light play. Of course there wasn't a plan. Why would there be? Charles was risking his life to come out here and after all the trouble he went through to get here unnoticed with a dragon of all things-
He didn't realize he was starting to hyperventilate until Amare alerted him, and he started to calm down. -
charles boi is anxiety boi))
-
Kronk then gently pat the anxious boi on his head, “ it’s ok, Kronk said brightly as he looked at the party . “ Kronk know we can do this!”
“ we can’t take Lysander on first, he’s too powerful, he’s had the most experience with his dragon, and he has several other dragonriders working for him, we need to start slow, take out his army, attack the villages he’s taken over, that’s how we'll win the war.” Clariel said as she bit into her chicken. -
-
Gabriel said "That could work, but there is always the possible they my have loyalists."
-
Savanna sighed. "That would be like taking out the hydra beast by cutting off one head at a time. Cut off one head, three more take it's place. You have to take it out at the heart. Every time we defeat one of his men, he'll just get more. Plus we'll end up leaving a trail and he'll see us coming." Savanna replied.
-
Charles smiled lightly at Kronk. He was alright. "I agree. What if we used the people? What if we don't have to take them back with military force; if we convince the people to revolt on their own, and we aid them, it might overwhelm the system, one village at a time. That way we also have people on our side willing to fight if need be, and we use little violence until we're sure of victory. It will not only bring hope to other villages that might revolt without our aid, but also give us more time to train with each other since we won't be fighting nonstop." As Charles finished up he realized how much he had spoken. "Ah... of course... only if you wanted to..."
-
Alvara looked at Savanna with an angry expression. “ Taking Lysander on directly is suicide, he wiped out the high priestess with a flick of his wrist. What do you suppose you’d do to him now? Stab him! He’d see isn’t coming”
Arthur looked at Charles,
“ right now, the people believe I’m their enemy that my brother is the only one who cares, we need to shatter that Illusion, and bring hope to the people.”
Kronk tilted his head. He dismissed his thoughts though, kronk wasn’t very smart. -
Savanna sighed and shrugged. "You know if this was a movie, or some book written by a bunch of teenagers (which it totally isn't), there would be some sort of magical force that will pop out of nowhere and give us at least a direction. Like the Yellow Brick Road in Oz, or the Sherwood Forest in Robin Hood. However I highly doubt that's gonna happen. So what do you experts suggest we do?" Savanna asked, now bored of sitting here being yelled at and hoping to see a solution.
-
Gabriel said to Savanna "Your head is like a pond, my dear friend. Agitated, it becomes difficult to see, but allow it to calm and the answer will be reveled."
