I was making the plans when I accidentally clicked refresh and lost everything!!! So I'm gonna have to make these plans one post at a time. Therefore you're welcome to make suggestions for staff characters, classes, uniforms, etc.

First Things first, the basic information about the school/story that I will go into detail for later.
This is Dōbutsu Academy
The school was made for hybrid children with the ability to switch from human to hybrid to animal. The school has four buildings besides the main building. A building for water animals, land animals, a building for air animals, and a building for the beginners at the school. The school is for children ages 7-18. 7-10 are Beginners, 11-13 are Basics. 14-16 are Classics, and 17-18 year olds are Seniors. It is optional to take an extra year at 19 if you want a job in the Ministry of Hybrids. -
Basic Information about characters
The teachers at the school so far are:
Savana Carraban: A Swan Hybrid home room teacher for beginners
Candace Dodson: A timber wolf Hybrid home room teacher for the Basics
Sebastian Farras: An octopus Hybrid home room teacher for classics
Walter Brians: A lion Hybrid homeroom teacher for Seniors.
Sandra Peters: A cheetah Hybrid gym teacher for girls
Daniel Tan: A shark Hybrid gym teacher for boys
Donation Carraban: A crane Hybrid dance teacher
Alexandra Tillis: A dolphin Hybrid music teacher
I will go more into depth on these characters later. Feel free to post ideas for teachers.
For students well most of them will be the character cards or extras, but there will be a few NPCs that will be the same each time I use this school.
Heather: A brown bear hybrid and tutor. She is very strict and intelligent, and is a Classic.
Darrick and Darla: Twin Seniors, the two are both peregrine falcon hybrids and are the most infamous bullies at the school. They like to decide people based on how powerful their animals are. For example, they would befriend a leopard hybrid but torment a mouse hybrid but ignore a zebra hybrid.
Colby Bullock: The Student Body President, Colby is a Senior meerkat. He is often picked on because of his small, weak creature despite his age, however he makes it work and is proud of his animal.
Daisy Parkins: a nine year old, Parkins is a mouse hybrid that looks up to Colby and claims to have a crush on him. Colby is very protective and kind with the young girl but people see him like a big brother to her more than a love interest considering the age difference.
Tiana Firgins: Daughter of the caretaker, Tiana is known as tattle tale Tia. The chameleon Classic is very skilled at helping her father track down trouble makers.
Other Staff:
Perceval Firgins: The python hybrid school caretaker.
Hannah Wailson: A Golden Retriever hybrid, she is the school nurse.
Celia, Amelia, and Wilia Carson: Triplet three toed sloth hybrids, the woman are the school chefs.
Any other suggestions for characters are welcome! -
How about a axolotl hybrid, who is weak but popular due to axolotl's being almost extinct?

Or a whale/elephant hybrid who everyone is afraid of due to their size but is actually just a big sweetheart

I like the elephant idea. They would be a good keeper of the grounds but then I might be copying Hagrid a bit. Or a senior who can be best friends with Colby.

For Axoloti I could make a kind of dare devil character that regenerates limbs because of his creature but his parents are very protective because of the endangered species.

About the world
This is Dōbutsu Academy, a school run in a world hiding just under the noses of humans. Located on an island that used to be part of Japan until three victims of experimentation in the war bought the island after becoming billionaires for people like them. The three men were hybrids and there were many people like them. So they invented an entire country for Hybrids. You may know it as Area 51.
Hybrids will start out as a smaller, less useful animal as a child and the more they train the better the animal they'll get. Example, a child will get their shape shifting powers at around 7-9 and will start at something like a mouse, Robin, or clown fish. Then after training, at aged 8-11 they might something like a rabbit, raven, or cat fish. At 10-14 they could become a fox, owl, or yellow fin tuna fish. At 13-18 they can become something like a wolf, hawk, or mako shark. Finally, at any time as an adult, they could possibly become something like a timber wolf, falcon, or great white shark. Some more talented hybrids are able to switch to a more advanced animal earlier in their years. Usually this happens when the child had a difficult past. Sometimes a child will prefer the animal they currently work with over one of more speed, skill, or power and will keep the same.

There are shops and stuff out characters can visit too.
The Library
Run by Karina Daze, a deer hybrid. She is very shy and skiddish, as well as odd and unpredictable. She is a lesbian and her girlfriend Molly Fillips, a zebra hybrid, is the landlord of the property. Many rumours are spread that Karina pays for the library in her own special way.
The Arcade
Run by Parrot hybrid Mico Tarris, the arcade has several classic arcade games. Mico will always suggest Guitar Hero because he loves listening to the songs.
Hair Salon
The Hair Salon is run by Patricia Tarris, Mico's Mother. She is a peocock hybrid and is very skilled. She can create literally any hairstyle. However making your hair longer than it really is cost more.
Bear paws and Donuts
The local coffee shop, Bear Paws and Donuts sells a large verity of drinks, fruit, and pastries and is run by Heather's family.
Martha's Marvellous Matches
A large clothing shop run by Anita Xar, mocked by many for remaining a squirrel hybrid. She finds the tiny hands and agile body useful for sewing and makes getting around more of an adventure. She would be bored as a faster or larger animal. She has an incredible sense of fashion, and rumour has it Mico has a crush on her.
Radio Active
The only radio station in town, the radio station plays son request from the people. The hosts are Austin Parkin's, Daisy's young father who is a panther hybrid, and Jenna Harris, a black widow hybrid who is the source of nearly every rumour in town.
Go Groceries
Owned and run by Izzy, Percy, Tania, Flora, Farren, and Bob Firgins, each an iguana hybrid, the grocery store sells products all grown and raised on their mother's farm. Their parents are divorced and Mis. Firgins has the five older childring while Mr. Firgins only wanted the youngest.

Maybe a Salamander character?
I’m not sure if you’ve done anything like this but a lot of animals have spiritual meanings / symbolism which could be useful in a story for example a character with good luck could be a lady bug.

I have been using certain animals with certain personalities for some characters. Their animals can depend on their personalities as well as skill set. Their appearance can depend on their animal as well. For example, an owl hybrid might have wide eyes where a bat hybrid might have very thin or blind eyes.

The four houses are named after a Japanese word for their group of students. Like how Dōbutsu means Animal. Each house has a Lobby, a training room, a room for school work, six floors of dorm rooms (each for four people), and an auditorium for house meetings.
The Mizu Building
What it stands for: Water. Mizu house is for hybrids that transform into an animal that lives in the water.
Lobby: A pool that leads to four underground lakes. Fresh Water (Tropical), Fresh Water (Ordinary), Salt Water (Tropical), and Salt Water (Polar).
Dorms: Dorm rooms have a blue/green/white colour scheme and scaly/coral designs on lamps, beds, dressers, bathrooms, etc along with a sandy carpet. They have shower nozzles by the beds (four poster beds) in case of hydration problems. The pillows and mattress are made of sponge and the blanket is silk.
Training Room: The training room is an underwater arena that can turn into a feild of kelp, a maze of coral, or dark, pressured water.
The Kūri Building
What it Stands for: Air. Kūri house is made for hybrids that turn into an animal that can fly. (Not glide. Flying Squirrels don't count.)
Lobby: The Lobby is mostly empty space but has a door that leads to a tower (no stairs) with an observatory at the top. The lobby itself has a net for a ceiling between itself and the training room.
Dorms: The dorm rooms have a grey/silver/blue colour scheme with most of the furniture being light weight. The mattresses of the bunk beds are air mattresses and the blankets and pillows are cotton.
Training Room: The training room has a net floor that catches you if you fall. From it's ceiling hang several different hoops and two bird swings. There are two platforms on opposite sides of the room to give it an arena look.
The Tochi Building
What it stands for: Land. Tochi house is for hybrids that can turn into an animal that lives on the land.
Lobby: The lobby has a running track with hurdles, ropes, and other obstacles. The track can be switched to four different settings. Desert, Jungle, Plain, and Polar.
Dorms: The dorms have a colour scheme of green, white, and brown with several paintings of different land scapes. The hideabeds have normal mattresses with fur pillows and fur blankets. Some of the senior dorms have secret passages to places in the town.
Training Room: An ordinary arena with the same four settings as the track.
The Kaishi Building
What It Stands For: Start. Kaishi house is for Beginners. It is also the Elementery school for those under the age of seven. It also serves for some students with special needs.
Lobby: A day care like classroom.
Dorms: Each dorm has an orange, yellow, and red colour scheme and bean bag beds. The pillows and blankets are normal and there are boxes filled with toys.
Training Room: A jungle gym with a few dummies. -
Deeper descriptions of teachers:
Professor Savana Carraban:
Description: A swan hybrid, Savana is very graceful, strict, proud, confident, prim, proper, clean, and short tempered. She's certainly not everyone's favorite teacher, unless you're a child. To little children, she's the kindest person you'd ever meet. Which is why she's a teacher for the beginners. However she also runs detention on Wednesdays and Saturdays, so don't cross her.
Apoearance: Long and grey hair with blue highlights. Soft, Sharp, or Intelligent black eyes, depends on her mood. A long, sharp nose. Thin, pink lips. Perfectly curved eyes with long eyelashes. Curvy body with large breast, slim waist, large bottom, and slim legs. Large, wide feet. Long, thin fingers. Short, plump arms. Soft, creamy skin.
Professor Candace Dodson:
Description: A timber wolf hybrid, Candace is very intimidating, impatient, skilled, bold, brave, smart, and sassy. She is quite humorous and if you're a well behaved student, you shouldn't have a really fun time in her class. She believes that learning should be fun, but misbehave in her class and she also believes punishment should be remembered. Because he's a little too tough for little kids and not patient enough for teenagers, she teaches the Basics.
Appearance: Long straight black hair and bangs. Intimidating or mischievous Grey eyes. Soft roundish nose. Full, pale lips. Pale skin. Small hands and feet. Slightly muscular figure. Flat bottom and small breast.
Professor Sebastian Farras:
Description: An octopus hybrid, Sebastian is very clever, witty, kind, intelligent, tricky, mischievous, smart, charming, and playful. He is very talented and entertaining and he's the kind of teacher all the girls have a crush on. Because of his intelligent and playful personality, he is a teacher for the Classics.
Appearance: He has ear length, shaggy, reddish blonde hair. Bright golden eyes. A British accent. A Slightly muscular body. Long fingers, legs, and arms. He is ambidextrous (can use both hands equally) and very flexible. He has freckles, a small nose, small ears and perfect teeth.
Walter Brians:
Description: A lion hybrid, Walter is very loyal, strong, brave, bold, adventurous, and fierce. His skills in leadership and discipline make him a good educator to teenagers and therefore he teaches the Seniors.
Appearance: Long, blonde, voluminous hair. Bright, cheerful brown eyes. Sharp chin. Flat nose. Full, dark lips. Very muscular build.
