Ink watched her leave before nibbling on the the bit of food, humming softly as he felt his magic absorb it before he pulled himself onto the bed and started eating the rest of it, practically purring

A few minutes later she comes back in sipping on a cup of coffee she looks at him curiously as she sits down on the floor

Ink finished eating and then sat with his legs crossed as he watched her "wgats your name?" he asked curiously, idly playing with one of his smaller brushes

She tilts her head to the side slightly before saying "everyone calls me Kitty...or the shadow cat...how about You?" She stares out the nearby window staying alert for signs of trouble

Ink smiled brightly "Im Ink!" he said cheerfully "but people used to call me Protector" he paused and got a sad look on his face, his right eyelight becoming a dark blue teardrop "not that i was any good at that.

She frowns slightly "ink? Thats...intresting...im sure you were a good protector" She stands up and walks towards the mirror Ink seems to realize she has no shadow

Ink blinked at her feet in confusion but shrugged it off before changing the subject "where am i?" he asked, before pausing for a second and adding "and how long was i unconscious?

"Roughly a day and two hours and seven minutes...and we're in an abandoned building I use as my 'hideout' "

Ink nodded slightly in understanding before suddenly sitting up straight "how many got though the rift."

"Of those creatures? Quite a lot...i hoped some other heroes would fight them while I took care of you but some got away...thanks for...you know..."

Ink quickly hopped off tge bed "ypur welcome" he said, although je was startibg to look a little panicked as he glanced arpund for the exit

She notices "hey you should rest first mister let the locals take care of it for now you need to rest" she says looking slightly like a mother or teacher

Ink started rattling "i cant it will only take one to start an infestation" he said quickly, fighting to stay calm. He faintly noticed that ye was only avout half her hight but kept looking for a way out "i cant let them do what they did to my home.

"Hey hey calm down" she looks worried "don't worry I'll take care of it but you have to rest or you'll get killed"

Ink didnt appear to have heard her as his eyelights focused on the window before he darted towards it, his eyelights flashing red for a moment
