Nightmare wrapped her wings around as she warmed him up.

Red snuggled into the warmth

Nightmare smiled before she fell asleep.

Red twitched slightly

Nightmare woke an hour later as she yawned.

Red had vanished and was currently hidding in the basement

Nightmare frowned"Red?"

Red shivered as he wedged himself further behind a pile of boxes to hide

"I know that you're scared but I made a promise that I would not hurt you,only to help and protect you.." Nightmare spoke softly as she frowned.

Red heard her but stayed hidden

"Red please...You're strong.." Nightmare said as she felt her soul pound at her words as she placed a hand over her heart.

Red covered his skull with his arms and stayed where he was

Nightmare sighed as she gave up on trying to get him to come back.

Red had started crying

Nightmare bit her lips at hearing him crying before she starting to sing to him.
