It's been about 20 years since Winston made his Overwatch Recall. The world needed heroes and the got them. Soon most of the world's problems were solved, Talon was taken down and humankind now has better relations with the omnics. Everything should be right with the world, but there is still a problem. A new threat named the Void, was planning on total destruction of the world. With certain members of Overwatch either retired, dead or missing in action, it's up to some new recruits to bring some justice.
Rules:
You don't need to have a full extensive knowledge of the lore of Overwatch to be in this roleplay.
Despite the name, you don't have to make a fankid, you can make an OC if you want
You can have as many characters as you can handle

Could you describe the overwatch team, setting, timeline, etc so I know what kind of character to make?

Overwatch was an international task force formed during the Omnic Crisis over thirty years ago. It championed the ideals of heroism, sacrifice, and nobility. The Omnic Crisis was an event that robots tried to take over the world and Overwatch was made to try and stop the crisis. It consisted of "scientists, soldiers, adventurers, and oddities," and was intended to carry out asymmetric warfare against the omnics. After the Omnic Crisis, they became a peace keeping force, until they started to get suspicions of corruption and public opinion went down. That's when they disbanded.
The setting is in the future, sometime in 2090 I would say.
