(Okay.)
(Should we timeskip to when they're done and Camila has to put Joey to bed?) -
(Okay)
"Okay Joey. It's bed time." Peter announced. "Bed time is for babies." Joey complained. "That's not true. In the military, they go to bed at eight o'clock pm sharp. Then wake up and five o'clock am sharp." Peter told him. Joey paused, then came up with a comeback. "I've seen Donald Trump on the news. The government are babies." Joey muttered, causing Peter to laugh for a good ten minutes. "Ok then. Since you are a grown up, you don't have to go to bed. You can stay up to ten." Peter told him. "Really!?!" Joey cheered. "Yup! And just like an adult, you're going to spend that time cleaning your room." Peter cheered. After awhile of silence, Joey sighed. "Actually... I'm pretty tired..." He muttered, causing Peter to chuckle. -
Camila laughed and she stood up, wrapping an arm around his shoulder, "Come on. Let's get you to bed." I told him as we walked upstairs.
-
Joey nodded sleepily and went with her while Peter followed. "Are you going to be my brother's girlfriend?" Joey asked. "Joey... We don't ask questions like that..." Peter chuckled awkwardly. This kid's going to make her uncomfortable... He thought, looking at Camila to see her reaction to the question.
-
Camila slowly patted his back, gazing in space thinking of God knows what. She looked down at the boy and asked, "Why do you ask, hm?" Her voice calm, and innocent.
-
"Because he wants you to be his girlfriend." Joey replied in a sing song voice. "We had a deal." Peter reminded Joey, rubbing his face in stress. "I'm bored of the deal. What would I do with fifteen dollars anyway?" Joey replied. "Technically you're getting thirty." Peter replied. "Hey, Camila..." Joey began. "I'll make it fifty..." Peter sighed. "I don't want money. I want entertainment." Joey replied. "I'll play Mario Cart with you every day for the next week." Peter offered. "And the thirty dollars?" Joey asked. "Hahahahahaha bed time." Peter replied in a monotone voice before carrying Joey to his bed, away from Camila.
-
Camila ran her hand through her hair, trying her best to breathe properly. Her heart pounding against her chest. She knew what Joey was trying to say, but she wanted to tell herself otherwise. She didn't want to believe it. She didn't even know what she was thinking.
-
(Just so I have an idea, what does Camila think Joey's getting at?)
-
(That she shouldn't get her hopes up cuz he's a playa)(She kinda started liking him)
-
(Ok.)
"What was that about huh?" Peter asked Joey as he tucked him in. "I changed my mind about wanting her to be your girlfriend. She's too perfect for you." Joey muttered. "You're a strange kid." Peter sighed. "No, I'm a little brother. It's my job to mess you up." Joey replied with a grin. "What were you even going to tell her?" Peter asked. Joey grinned in response, giving him a you know what look. Peter sighed before leaving the bed room to see Camila looking a bit panicked. "Are you Okay?" Peter asked, sincere concern and worry on his face. -
Camila nearly junoed out of her skin, "Ah!" She whisper-shouted, then paused trying to find an excuse, "I mean...ahhhh I'm so tired..." She stretched her arms up and yawned, "You should go to bed now." She told him
-
"Well... If you're tired, why walk?" He decided, picking her up bridal style. He smiled as he walked over to her room and pushed the door open, then carried her to her bed and put her down. He decided it would be a bad idea to push it, so he turned to walk to the door.
-
Camila grabbed his arm, parting her lips like she wanted to say something but nothing came out. "Uh, thanks, good night." She smiled, and let go of him. Although thats not what she wanted to say.
(I might do another plot twist in this story....who knows 😈😈) -
Peter blushed when she grabbed his arm and turned around. He smiled and sat beside her. "Could I have a kiss goodnight before I leave?" He asked, gently placing his fingers under her chin.
-
(Sorry I can't check your message on quotev I'm writing a journal entry and don't to leave that page.)
Camila blushed a deep red, but her room was sorta dark since the lights weren't turned on. The only light source was the moonlight that shone into her room.
She slowly nodded, and closed her eyes, expecting a kiss on her forehead or something.
