The next morning, Carson woke up and began preparing breakfast for everyone. By everyone he meant himself, Elias to gain his trust, and of course Scarlet to charm her. He would have served some to Corki and Carl to avoid suspicion, but he didn't like them.

Corki woke up and trudged out of her bedroom and to the living room, she lolled on the couch and rubbed her eyes, before stretching her arms and yawning softly.

Elias was still asleep but wasn't in his room. He was in the lounge with the TV on. Scarlett woke and groggily walked out of her room.

"Morning beautiful." Carson greeted with a smile. "How do you like your eggs?" He asked, putting even piles of bacon on the three plates.

Scarlett answered "Scrambled."

Carson smiled at her before beginning to scramble the eggs. Once he was done, he put piles of scrambled eggs on the three plates and handed her one.

Scarlett took the plate and said "Thank you."
