Isabella started defeathering the dodos she killed.

Ov took two sticks, and positioned them so they could cook the meat

Ov stuck the stick through the meat, and blushed, not answering -
Isabella wondered why Ov wasn't answering her. She just kept prepping the dodos.

Ov was glad she didn't ask again. That was his weakness. Repetitive questioning.
