"Are you Okay?" Tina asked, wondering what was up with his arms. Didn't the bat hit his leg? "What happened to your arms?" Tina asked, noticing he was rubbing them.
-
"I.. Scraped them.. " Johnnie lied. He stopped rubbing his arms and kissed Tina on the cheek
-
(What really happened to his arms?)
Tina could tell he was lying but smiled at the kiss. She decided it was none of her business and wondered if she should change the topic. The grass stain on her back was still unknown to her. -
(Lots of cuts)
Johnnies phone fell, so he went to pick it up. He saw the stain on her back and snickered. He picked up his phone, and realised his arms were in bandages. -
(Self cutting?)
"That looks like more than a scrape. Are you okay?" Tina asked, studying the bandages as she helped him get his phone. -
(Yes)
Johnnie nodded,and continued laughing quietly
. -
"What's so funny?" Tina asked, blushing a bit. There was something about his laughter that put butterflies in her stomach.
-
Johnnie didn't answer her. He simply covered his mouth and laughed harder
-
Tina frowned and blushed deeper. "What? What's so funny?" She asked, tucking her hair behind her ears.
-
Johnnie brushed off Tina's back, getting rid of most of the stain "Grass stain"
-
Tina blushed. "Oh... That used to be my older sisters coat. She must have been playing in the grass a lot as a teen." Tina lied. Obviously not wanting to tell him that she fell out a window to visit him.
-
"Lay down" Johnnie smiled, and made room
-
Tina blushed and did as she was told. She layer down beside him, looking around. She got another phone call. This time from her dad. She let it go to voice mail.
-
Johnnie frowned "Who keeps calling you?"
-
"My parents..." Tina blurted. She was tired of lying. She didn't want to have the relationship be a lie.
