Alex followed jack since he personally rarely stole stuff, usually it was jack who did that. He's done it a few times but not a whole bunch so he just followed jack

Miles' eyes widened. "Wha-" He turned to see two figures. In shock, Miles shouted, "What are you doing, pests?" He wiped his eyes.

Emerson felt a hand grab her. She wiped her head around fiercely, eyes burning bright. "Did you just grab me?" She shouted, furiously. She balled her fist and got in the proper punchin position.

Jack had no words. He grabbed Alex by the hand, and flung him behind him, then whispered "Go. I'm right behind you" He backed up, then tripped trying to flee.
