Ok I'll start.
-
Corline read about the house she would be staying in at America. She wondered what it would be like in America. She wasn't looking forward to all the guns, racism, or expensive health care in America. However she was looking forward to her new job.
-
Kori sat on the plane and it slowly made its way to America, she sat on her laptop playing mindless games trying to pass as much time as possible. She was looking forward to her job, she was really excited when she got her package and slowly calmed down as the time grew near to take the job but when it came to going to the airport or sitting on the plane she was bored. Kori flew on standby so the seats she got were a complete gamble, luckily she got an aisle seat on business class so it wasn't too bad but there were quite a few people dressed nicely as she would never understand. She had her headphones in as she blasted her usual playlist. A flight attendant came over and tapped her shoulder and told her that she had to put her stuff away since they would be descending soon, she did as she was told and popped a piece of gum in her mouth.
-
The train arrived at a station and more people got on. "Excuse me, is this booth taken?" A tourist asked her. He had a Mexican accent which was familiar to Coraline. Despite being a terrorist, her father's family were good people. She often went to Mexico to spend time with her grandparents on her father's side. "Hola! Nadie est sentado aqu, as que puedes sentarte aqu si quieres." Coraline told him. "Muchas gracias. You speak Espaol?" The man asked, sitting across from her. "s. My father was Mexican." Coraline replied. "Ah. Where is he now?" The man asked. "In prison." Coraline sighed. "Oh... I am very sorry about that." He replied as the train began to move. "It's Okay. ningn dao hecho."
-
The plane landed very smoothly and then the flight attendants did their whole speech thanking everyone for taking their airline but Kori, more or less, wasn't listening. She let the poor man out that was blocked between her and the wall of the plane and then took her bag out from the top and took her time gently putting it in her backpack. She took her time leaving the plane as the music blasted through her headphones. She easily found her bag and them moved on.
-
Eventually the train arrived at Philadelphia Pennsylvania and she got off. She took her luggage off the train and walked around the station, looking for her ride. Eventually she saw a man holding a sign with her name on it and walked over. She was taken to a car outside and she smiled. "So, is it your first time in America?" The driver asked. Caroline nodded as she got into the car. "We have to go to the Airport now to pick up Kori. Buckle up." The driver told her.
-
Kori walked around the airport for a while since, for once, her plane arrived early. She pulled her bag behind her and went into a coffee shop and got a very large coffee, she took it and walked out in front of the airport. She watched the busily moving people for a moment before pulling her case away from the door and then stopped and sat on the top of her suitcase and leaned back a bit in the metal pieces of the handle. She put her backpack beside her makeshift seat and pulled out her phone and opened the flap of the coffee so it could cool.
-
Once they arrived, the driver went in and Coraline followed. She didn't want to stay alone in the car.
-
Kori sat perched on her suitcase and waited for her ride. She wasn't watching around her as she sat scrolling through her phone. The wind ruffled around her hair but not enough to bother her.
-
Coraline looked around the room after opening up the picture of her new buisness partner on her phone. "She's over there." Coraline told the driver. The driver nodded and walked over to the girl sitting on her suitcase. "Excuse me miss? Are you Kori Agreste?" She asked Kori.
-
Kori only stopped to look up when someone blocked the light, she pulled out her headphones and looked up. She only caught the last part of what was said, her last name and nodded, "Yes, I am." she said her accent kicking in thick.
-
"Right this was Miss." The driver replied, smiling as she lead Kori to Coraline. "This is Coraline Black. She will be your partner." The driver explained. "A pleasure to meet you." Coraline greeted. When she spoke Spanish, her accent was Mexican. When she spoke English she had a British accent.
-
Coraline studied the girl, amazed by her gorgeous blue hair and bright, deep, hazel eyes.
-
Kori nodded and stood up as she grabbed her backpack off the ground. She looked over at the girl and studied her very well, "I see, nice to meet you." she said, she wasn't that concerned about how she spoke since it wasn't rude, just not happy and bubbly. "We should go, yes?" she said.
-
Coraline blushed slightly as the girl looked at her. The driver nodded and she took the two to the car outside. "Is there anything you would like to see in Philadelphia before I take you home?" The driver asked. She was paid by the hour. So if they wanted her to drive them to more places that was okay with her.
