Chuck sat in the chair up on the rooftop of the abandoned apartment building, staring down through his binoculars at the horde that scattered the streets below him. He had barricaded the doors, yes, but he knew they would not hold forever. He would have to move, find better shelter somewhere else if he wished to sleep at all that night.
