Arminia tried holding in the pain.Conceal it.She turned away,not being able to meet Maddie's eyes.

"I can't help you if you don't tell me what's wrong." Maddie told her, studying the girl with concern.

Arminda sighed and turned around but still did not meet her kidnapper's eyes.
"I have pneumonia,"she said"don't pity me or I swear that you will be nothing but a pile of dust." -
"Okay." Maddie replied, quickly googling treatment for pneumonia. She read a website that told her she wouldn't need to take her to the hospital unless (list is a little big so she is reading it.) "Okay... Do you have any other illnesses or disorders that may effect your breathing?" Maddie asked as she read the list.

"I have a cold"she said.

"Okay. Is your appetite okay? Are you on antibiotics?" Maddie asked.

"I don't take help from barbaric humans."she mentioned.

Maddie blinked. "I'm not barbaric... I just take what I need from people who can afford it. I was rushed when I took your car. Otherwise... I normally do research before I steal something. Make sure it won't really hurt anyone. I had to grab a car at random to get away because I messed up on the job." Maddie explained.

"Maybe you wouldn't have messed up if you hadn't been being...you."she explained.

Maddie was suddenly a bit angry. "Look! Accidents happen o matter who you are! Maybe if you had known that the car was being driven by a stranger you could have gotten someone's attention. But you didn't. Now that is in the past, and if you don't let me help you, you may not get a future." Maddie told her.

Arminda looked startled.She blushed but kept her mouth closed.She turned farther away from Maddie and whispered to herself.

Maddie sighed. "I'm going to go make us some dinner. I know it will be difficult... but please try to make yourself comfortable." Maddie told her in a voice that you could tell felt bad. She gave a friendly smile that was shadowed in her guilt before leaving the room.

Arminda sighed.She wiggled to the bed and sat there.She thought about her father and how he must be so worried.In her shame she weeped.

"Did you learn anything about her?" Maddie's uncle asked. "Not really." Maddie lied, getting out some kraft dinner out to make for dinner.
