Veronica glanced down at her book before hearing a small thud abd muffled words. She glanced up, to see her bright red bag had fallen over but, soon saw the girl side it. Snickering, Veronica shook her head at the girl. ''It's alright, I'm not going to hurt you,'' Veronica mentioned, tapping at the cover of her book.

Sally got up and said,"Hi. I'm Sally." She grabbed one elbow with her hand and nervously bit her lip. She said,"You're not anyone else that's around here."

''Nope,'' Veronica said with a smile. ''I'm different from the others, I'm not basic,'' She said,describing the supposed mind slaves of their society. ''It is nice meeting you though, Sally,'' Veronica said, picking up her bag abd throwing it over her shoulder.

Sally said,"How are you getting to your house? I walk home."

''I ride my bike and sometimes I walk,'' Veronica said, looking at the girl. ''Want to walk together, if not that's fine,'' She said, a smile on her lips as she attempted to be polite.

Sally said,"Sure." She shifted her backpack on her back and said,"Shall we?" She grinned, showing dimples.
