Cora studied the pink that was scattered across the room.The faint yellow glow added a calming touch.

"Coming?" Nim asked, once she reached the end of the long portal. She hoped Cora wouldn't get nervous or suspicious.

Cora focused on Nim.
"Oh ya"she said as she followed behind her,quietly. -
Nim watched Cora crawl through. When Cora reached the end, she held Cora's hand to help her in. "Nymph? Is that you honey?" Her 'mother' called, coming into the living room. "Hello dear. Who is this?" She asked. "Mom, this is Cora." Nim told her, helping Cora stand. "Well hello Cora." The 'mother' cheered.

"Hello"Cora forced a smile althought she wasn't too happy.

"I'm making dinner right now. Why not you take a seat?" She told the two before walking to the kitchen. The living room had a soft, brown carpet and red velvet couches. A painting of Starry Night was framed over the grand fire place. Next to it were two small fish tanks with sea horses, guppies, and gold fish. The fire was warm and beautiful and there were two book shelves, with one shelf on each side of the fire place. A tv was above the fire place and beside the door there was a wardrobe. "I understand if you aren't comfortable here. So here. Having this might make you feel safer." Nymph told her, placing the key necklace in Cora's hands.

Cora nodded,looking around.
"So this is where you live?"she asked. -
"Yeah. I made my mom and dad to look how I imagined my parents looked like." Nymph replied. Just then, her 'little sister' ran into the room. "Nim! You're home!" She cheered, hugging Nim. "Hi Kat! This is Cora." Nim told her. "Hi Cora! I'm Kat. Nim's little sister." Kat told Cora. "Is she staying for dinner?" Kat asked. Nim turned to Cora to see. She wanted to make sure Cora was comfortable.

"Um,I don't know about that..."she confessed.

"You don't have to if you don't want to." Nim told her. "Want to see my project for the talent show?" Kat asked. "Later, Okay?" Nim replied. "Okay." Kat sighed, running back to her room. "I felt alone a lot living here. So I left the apartment to make some friends with real people. I made friends with a little girl, but... My button eyes scared her off... Kat is based off of that girl." Nim explained, sitting on the couch.

"Oh,"Cora frowned"I'm sorry I didn't know that."She sighed.

"It's Okay." Nim replied. She didn't want Cora to feel upset. "Would you like to sit and chat or for me to show you around? Or would you prefer to go back?" Nim asked, changing the subject.

"Um,I kind of want to just stay here,for now"she said.
