In a small town in Canada, high school students go missing every night. C1 wants nothing to do with this. But when her best friend, Bethany Albany, goes missing, she plays detective to find out what happens. With the help of her other friend, C2, and her crush, C3, they try to track down the killer. Along the way, they meet two odd twins (C4 and C5) who also agree to help. It turns out, the killer is killing people in alphabetical order.
