The plot:
Our characters are adventurers in an unfamiliar land, a vast and visually stunning landscape that can surprise the uneducated with how much is really there. Waking up in the middle of a grassy field, we learn that trouble is everywhere, as the overworld itself is on the brink of destruction. A dark mage of unknown origin threatens to end all of creation unless some wanderers were to find the mythical weapons of the goddess Valentia and defeat him with them. After travelling to a few of the towns nearby our spot of awakening, we learn things about the world, the important royalty, and even about the mage himself. We all then decide to search out these holy weapons and learn more about each other in the process. Can our efforts bear fruit, and find these weapons to take him down? Or will we die trying? All of those poor souls who have tried to take him on before have never returned...
(We will begin in the field, of course. Linked images that serve as a character description are allowed as long as we can all see them. As for the villain, royal bloodline members and the overworld itself, I have the ideas locked within the confines of my mind. Some of this will be made up on the spot, which I feel I should at least tell you all before you join. Also, this thread is not locked for anybody, all may enter who wish to participate. I'm hoping for at least three to four other people to join, but more may be welcomed as well.)

(Oh, no it isn't. I didn't base this off anything in particular, but some of the characters and the one I'll be roleplaying as are characters I've created in a story of mine. Any similarities are just a weird coincidence. xD)

Name: Alistair Gael.
Age: 25.
Gender: Male.
Physical description: Alistair is around seven feet and five inches tall, with shoulder length snow white hair that he usually keeps in a ponytail. He is of a slightly burly build. His eyes are a piercing violet, his skin pale.
Armor (if any) and clothing typically worn by character: Al's clothing usually consists of a navy blue long sleeved shirt, black trousers, brown combat boots, and a white hooded cloak. He wears a golden ring with a red gemstone on his right hand's middle finger. His armor is a white standard knight's chestplate over his shirt and under his cloak. He also has white metal shin coverings.
Weapon(s) of choice: He wields Deimos, a one edged katana with a black grip and a pure white blade. The guard is a sturdy metal circle, which is shaped like the yin-yang symbol on both the top and bottom parts of it. The scabbard is a dull grey, and smooth to the touch.
Personality: He is a relatively calm and rational guy, of a very charismatic nature. He is an extremely caring individual, willing to risk his life to save anyone in need.
Other tidbits: His past is shrouded in mystery, his name all he can remember. -

Weapon(s) of choice: The staff that goes with her armour wields her magic. It can also shape shift into a sword.
Personality: kind, friendly, optimistic, blissful, shy, and blissfully ignorant. She isnt very smart and normally expects the best of people. However she is very clever, bold, brave, and passionate when it counts.
Skills:
Other tidbits: She has a curse on her that causes her blissfully ignorant and obedient personality. A fairy gave it to her as a gift when she was little. It takes a lot of energy for Tina to be her true self. So she often passes out if she reveals it. Therefore she is afraid of herself. -
