Tina frowned and pushed herself up. She felt like no one was ever going to take her seriously... She wanted to react. But that would make her seem vulnerable... So she rolled her eyes at him and looked away. She took a deep breath to fill her empty chest before running away from them.

Jackal watched her run before glaring at Chase"Why would you say that to her?". Chase frowned and looked at the ground in regret as he gritted his teeth.He then went after her.

Randy helped Jamie up and asked "What happened to you guys?"

Tina was worried. She was worried that she would never be as good of a detective as her brother. She was worried that people would think she was a coward. She was worried that people would see her vulnerability and pounce on it. She needed to make people think she didnt care about what they thought. So that they couldnt get to her.
She didnt know what her friends thought of her. And she was worried they only hanged out with her because she was Bruces sister. All this thinking will give me a headache. She groaned, trying to hide her fear as she rang down a different Alley than the one that creep went into. -
Chase kept following her"Tina!!"

Tina stopped when she heard Chase call her. She stopped and turned around in confusion. What do you want? She asked, walking into the light but staying in the alley.

Chase stopped as he frowned"I want to apologise for saying that to you."

Jamie said "Jackel, what happened?"

Its Okay. Tina replied. You dont need to be sorry. I dont really care. She told him casually. She lef5 the Alley and turned to walk away.

Chase went after her and frowned before he grabbed her hand.
Jackal looked at Jamie"Well there was this person in a cloak who was following us and Chase asked Tina if we should attack and she told us to run but we didn't.She had ran up to the cloak figure and used her knife to cut the cloak." -
Tina blushed as he grabbed her hand and turned around in confusion. What now? She asked, forcing herself to look in his eyes even though it made her feel nervous.

Jamie said "Sounds like you ran into the kidnapper. Did he say anything?"

Chase frowned deeply"Are you still upset with me?"
"He just asked for our names but we didn't tell him."Jackal replied. -
No. Im not upset with you. Tina replied honestly, blushing. She was upset with herself mostly. Tina realized he was still holding her hand and blushed.
