Whilst sitting upon the grassy cliff overlooking the small town of Gravendrift, a white haired male stares out into the horizon and blinks once. The male, his long white hair in its usual ponytail, just sighs in boredom. Ever since killing the beast that plagued the village weeks ago, he really didn't have anything to do. The children he normally cared for, having left due to their god heritage, are no longer around. The elderly lady, which he refers to as 'Lady Ellen', took off a few hours ago as well. And Alicia left with Lodrech to go hunting, leaving the snow haired male alone with his thoughts. But, he remembers that he has a job to do, himself, so he gets to his feet and glances one last time at the afternoon sky. Turning around and making the short walk down the small mountain, he enters the little village of Gravendrift, pulling the hood of his white cloak over his head and picking up the pace of his walking a tad. Eventually, he comes to the biggest house in the village, which turns out to be Lodrech's armoury, and opens the door. After walking inside, he makes his way to the back of the room and opens the giant silver and black chest, looking for something. He grabs what he is looking for, a standard knight's sword, and closes the chest. "Have to go make my rounds. Then, hopefully Alicia and I can talk." -

Prologue: Earth.
Year: 4014.
Operation: Revolution.
This war had gone on long enough. Ever since I was a little kit, at the age of ten, I was stuck in this forsaken battle against the Dictator. He took everything from me: a normal life, my left arm, my family. I was infuriated that he had found out our hideout and began a full assault. We started out as a group of 100, but due to most of them being generally new to fighting, they were swiftly captured, or executed. Only ten of us remained.
"They're gone?!", I questioned, fearing for my remaining comrades as the missiles fell around us. "Aye! We need to attack now, or we're doomed!" I nodded and quickly sprung into action, breaking every robot as though they were paper. As we all entered the room, the Dictator had a pistol aimed toward our Queen's head. "Let her go!", I growled. He turned toward me with eyes as dark as night. "If I'm going down, she's going with me!" He laughed maniacally, as I quickly thought of a plan. I quickly held up my left arm, and shot his hand, causing him to drop the weapon, and my team to spring into action. -
(Damn Fire drills.)
Moments later, he was in handcuffs and escorted out of the building, grumbling as he surrendered, and released all who were alive as his p.o.w. I was the last one in the building when. "Initiate teleportaton sequence." I was curious and frightened. As the monotone voice counted down from 10, I bolted out of the room and was just about to reach the exit when I felt ill, and blacked out.
A few seconds later I awoke, only to be free-falling. I looked down as a castle entered my vision. -
Stepping outside of the small shack that had the weapons in it, Alistair looks up at the midday sky to see a silhouette of a being falling towards the castle in the background. As he sees this, two thoughts cross his mind. One, that they are falling really fast. Two, that the area is home to many dark creatures and monsters alike. Without thinking, he begins to run up the path leading to the giant cobblestone bridge that leads to the castle. His white cloak flows with the air around him as he runs, all of his thoughts on the person falling. They won't make that fall alive...
-
I looked around to see the ground less than a hundred feet below. And fast. I glanced toward a slight sound and braced for impact. Moments later, I was lying in a somewhat large crater, not moving, and looking around. "That hurt a little.", I muttered and slowly sat up, cracking my back. It must've been loud, because soon enough, a very large ogre looking being smashed through the trees, and roared. Directly into my face. "Roight. Two Things. One, eat a mint. Two, you just made a mistake." I growled and charged, barely avoiding his club. As it tried for a second attempt, I reacted instantaneously, and used my claws to tear through it. It seemed frightened, and ran off quickly. "Huh. Neat." I said as I caught my breath.
-
After about five minutes of running, Alistair finally crosses the bridge. However, still a bit further away, he sees the being crash into the ground. "Damn it!" He yells, but says nothing as the person stands up and chases off one of the creatures by attacking it. Bewildered a tad, he makes his way over to the desecrated castle courtyard, his eyes blinking once. "Are you okay?" He asks, the hood from the cloak falling off his head and letting his long white ponytail loose. His violet eyes gaze all over the person, trying to see if there are any injuries. He sees none, which makes him curious.
-
I heard a voice and immediately pulled out my pistol, quickly aiming towards their location. I studied the being, growing curious as to whom they were and where I was. I holstered my weapon, and sighed, "I'm fine. My apologies for acting so irrational. I have no idea where I am." I sighed.
-
His eyes continue to study the person further, before his gaze moves to the creature running off in the distance. "You appear to be one of the lost ones. However, the moon is not full, nor is it crimson. And the way you got here, it's not how people usually travel here." He walks over to the person and extends his right hand to them, intending to shake it. "My name is Alistair, and I'm the guardian of the town to the south of here. This area, however, I have not been to, at least for more than five minutes. But if my guess is correct, then this is Greyroot Castle, the once prosperous nation having declined due to the mysterious disappearances of the old lords."
