(I love that line! Though it makes me feel old when I say it to the kids on my bus and they don't get it... LOL)
"Let's just get some breakfast..." Meredith replied, blushing. They entered the restaurant and sat at a table. Meredith opened the menu expecting human flesh or eyeballs. She was relieved to see regular food.
After breakfast, Juliana left the restaurant to join her roommate in the interrogation room. Her roommate was a sorceress for the castle as well. Since it was our job to protect the castle, they had to interrogate intruders. Lavender would write down what was being said and video tape it for evidence while Juliana did the torture. -
Misty said "Hey cool, they have fish here."
Alduin ate his breakfast and walked to the accounting office to take care of his job. He was hired to make sure everyone paid they're taxes and to examine financial records for all the businesses. -
Hanna looked at the menu and wondered what she should choose.
After Kelly finished her breakfast she turned into a horse and ran to her stables, when she got there she turned back into human form and she noticed a note on the door, she took it off, read it, and swore loudly, the note said 'I Quit', meaning that the stable boy had quit for some reason. Kelly sighed and got to work doing the things the stable boy would usually do muttering angrily the whole time, knowing that she still had to check on her hippocampi, she hoped that her stable girl that worked with the hippocampi didn't quit. -
Meredith looked at the menu and noticed that they needed a waitress. That could be a good job to start with. She asked the waiter about the job as she ordered eggs, bacon, and french fries.
"Suspect was found in a ship wreck on the island." Lavender recorded. "Appears to be a merman." She added. "Ok! Let's get to work!" Juliana cheered, getting dressed in her work uniform. She took off the shield and cloak before entering the interrogation room. -
Misty ordered hash browns and looked outside the window. She wondered what jobs were available to her.
Alduin got to his desk and started his computer. He thought another boring day at the office would occur once again. Nothing exciting ever happens here he thought. -
Hanna ordered some pancakes.
Kelly finished doing what she was doing and went into horse form and ran off towards the lake to check on her hippocampi. -
"Ok pirate.What's your name?" Juliana asked, sitting on a chair in front of the pirate. The man smirked at her, not giving an answer. Juliana smirked back and leaned forward. Not talking... Huh?" Juliana asked, studying the pirate who looked away. Juliana frowned, walking around him and stroking his neck with a knife. She didn't break the skin yet. But she gave him the idea. "My name is Bernard Franklin Danat!" The pirate told her, now realising his life was in danger as she sat on his lap. "Looks like we're on a good start." She told him, smirking.
Meredith made an appointment for a job interview as their food was served. "I'll be a waitress here. That should give me many people to talk to. What are you guys gonna do?" Meredith asked. -
Alduin looked at the records for some of the businesses but suddenly heard and loud crash in the building and all the power cut out.
Misty said "I'm not sure. Maybe I could get a job at a local business." -
"I don't know either." said Hanna, "After breakfast we should go around and see what jobs we can get."
Before Kelly left she put up a sign on the stable doors that said, 'Now Hiring'. When she got to the lake she turned into a human and dove in, she swam up to the underwater stables and sighed in relief when she saw the stable girl doing her job, at least she didn't quit. -
"Ok." Meredith replied. She wondered about that boy they met earlier... He appeared to be mostly Dragon. Maybe he was a Wyvern or Gargoyle.
"So... What were you doing on the island sweetheart?" Juliana asked, stroking the side of his face. "Uh... Nothing really." He lied, smirking at her. Juliana made the smirk disappear by twisting his ear. "I'm going to ask one more time." Juliana sighed, allowing the man to rub his ear. She stroked his chest and studied his eyes. The man's cheeks glowed red and his eyes seemed like he was trying to think. "Why were you on this island?" She asked again. -
Misty said "Will do."
Alduin walked out onto the office balcony and saw a truck on it's side at the delivery entrance, crashed into said entrance. -
Hanna began to eat her pancakes.
Everything seemed to be fine so Kelly went back to her other stables and leaned against the door of the small building next to the stables, the building was where whoever was renting a horse would pay and where Kelly or the stable boy would write down who rented what horse, when they rented the horse, and how long they were renting the horse for. -
"Ok! I was looking at a shipwreck here to see if there was anything forgotten in there. I didn't know there was a castle I swear!" He yelled as Juliana pressed a knife to his chest. "Thank you. That's All I needed to hear." Juliana said. She left the interrogation room and gave the man a memory spell. He passed out and was carried to his ship. "Great! Now, I think there's a problem in the castle." Lavender sighed as an alarm went off.
After breakfast, Meredith went to the office for her interview. -
Misty finished her hash browns and walked around. She saw a help wanted sign at a stable and wondered if they would hire her. She decided to walk in.
Alduin called the company who owned the vehicle and asked "Did you guys just crash into our building?" The guy said "It wasn't me, it was my brother." -
Kelly saw one of the girls she saw earlier walk into the stables, so she followed her and said, "So, do you want to rent a horse or are you here for a job?" she hoped the girl was here for a job.
Hanna finished her pancakes and walked around, wondering what job she should get, she saw a a sign on a store saying that they were hiring, she decided that maybe she could get a job there and she walked inside.
