"I'm thinking lots of things." Abigail laughed with a smirk. "They are secrets." She whispered as she wrote her own fairy tail. It was a project they were given in language because their teacher disapproved of regular fairy tales and wanted to see what her students would right to replace them.
-
"Give it now." Jeno ordered, extending his hand out so she could place her book in it.
-
"Fine. But it ain't finished." Abigail sighed as she handed the book over. She was disappointed that Jeno didn't give a damn what she thought.
The Hunchback Of Give-a-damn
One day, in a faraway town in France, there was a young woman who fell madly in love with a kind, honest man. But his father didn't give a damn about love. So he killed his sons wife and child. The wife faked her death however, but couldn't save her son.
The woman brought her son back using magic. But in order to do this, the woman put a curse on the town. This curse was considered a gift however to those like her. Because it made everyone care for eachother. Even her rebirthed child, who was left hunched back as a result.
Because of the town's history, it was renamed to Give a Damn. Since this is france, they translated the town name to S'en proccuper. Which, if later generations google, means Give a Damn.
The End -
"This is...." Jeno's eyes widened and left his mouth hanging.
-
"It needs to be edited a lot. You know. Names, detail, that junk." Abigail replied, rolling her eyes. Abigail looked around the library in a bored manor, not noticing Jeno's surprise. Suddenly, she screamed and jumped behind Jeno's chair.
-
Before Jeno could complete his sentence, and say "This is really stupid." She screamed and jumped behind his chair, "What's your problem? Did you see a ghost this time?"
-
"No... It's Rickey." Abigail whispered. Rickey was Abigail's major crush. She had recently found out that he had a crush on her. But she also found out that he was a trouble maker f**k-boy. So if he charmed her it could be bad news.
And he was walking right towards them! "Hey Jeno. Have you seen Abi?" Rickey asked, sitting in the chair Abigail had been sitting in. half of Abigail sighed in relief, happy that he didn't see her. The other half was fixing her hair and sitting behind the chair nicely in case he saw her. -
Jeno had a smug smirk plastered across his face, Abbie's crush huh? Time to have some fun, he thought. "Oh...shell be back. I think she went to the...uh, outdoor patio to meet a friend. Its not like she's hiding behind anything or anyone or somthing!" He said with a laugh, "Now that you're here. Wanna know a secret?"
-
Jeno you Jerk!!! Abi thought, blushing wildly. "A secret? What kind?" Rickey asked in his way too adorable accent. It took Abbie all her strength to keep from squealing.
-
"This is Abbie's secret okay? Its not that bad okay? You know, since she's afraid of the dark and they have to put out the lights before they sleep at the dorms. She gets scared and pees on the bed. Yup. And when she's alone she eats like a maniac." Jeno started saying things that were untrue. To make Rickey loose interest in her or make her come out of her hiding spot.
-
"I don't reckon that's true." Rickey replied, laughing a bit. "Otherwise she wouldn't smell so good." He blurted. Abbie's face turned bright red. She wasn't sure if it was from anger or blushing. She managed not to come out until she heard Rickey leave the library. "So long then." Rickey told Jeno as he approached the door.
-
Jeno crossed his arms and and the smile on his face died down, "So long then." He imitated him, rolling his eyes.
-
Abigail slapped Jeno hard before sitting down. "Dumba**!" She muttered. Loud enough for him to hear a mutter. But not enough for him to hear what she said.
-
"Ow!!!! My soft, soft, soft cheeks!" Jeno rubbed his cheeks in pain. He heard her mutter but didn't hear what she said, "What did you just say?"
-
"Nothing." Abbie said innocently as she pinched her cheeks. Her phone dinged and she groaned. "My parents are going out this weekend." Abigail groaned after reading the text. That meant her Uncle Jess and Aunt Jackie were looking after her. Uncle Jess was fun. But he was a terrible cook. And her Aunt was always trying to dress her up and always talked about how a pretty girl like her should have a boyfriend.
