Gabreal stood in front of Katashi, a dumbfounded look on his face. He made no move to grab the man as he turned and began to walk away. Instead, he let his hands fall to his sides, turning to look back at the werewolves. Peter was further away from the group, but he didn't seem to have many physical inguries. Pan looked just as confused as he did, but he too wasn't going to stop them.
Peter, however, started to bark up his own type of storm. He limped after them before taking off into a sprint, catching up to Katashi. Angry, he yelled, "You're just going to run? Where is your honor? Get back here, you b------! Come and fight--"
Rafeal lept from the building, landing in front of Peter. He placed a single finger to his lips, staring into his eyes. No words were spoken between the two. After a moment, Peter backed away, glaring at Katashi, before he went to his brother's side. -
Katashi spun around, mentioning the others to continue forward. They were in no shape to continue fighting, but he would if he needed. He looked at the new-comer and chuckled. "You must be Rafeal." he said, taking a step forward. "Now, I don't want to be rude, but..." he looked at Peter and snarled. "Me and you have something to discuss." He walked up to the young werewolf and grabbed him by the collar of his shirt. "My honor is what I carry with me. I don't carry my honor in my fights. My honor are in my boys, who try their hardest. Don't tell me I don't show any honor, when it is in fact you who has no honor worthy traits." he said, stepping back slightly. "Now, is there anything else any of you would like to discuss...before I go."
-
Peter felt the power in Katashi's grip as he held the wolf's shirt tightly. He growled, but it was softer than the noises he had been making that day. As much as he wanted to argue with the blonde, he wasn't sure if it was the proper time. As it was, he felt as if Katashi held truth in his words. Defeated by nothing but words, Peter looked away as the grip on his shirt was released.
Rafeal moved over to Katashi's side, wrapping an arm around him as if they were old friends. Looking away, the male began to speak. However, his words were not spoken aloud- they were inside of Katashi's head. 'I wish to speak to you, somewhere other than here. Feel free to have your men swarm me if it makes you comfortable. I do not intend to cause harm to any of you.' -
Katashi nodded, but snuck a glance at Peter and shook his head as he motioned Rafeal to follow him. As they walked down the streets, the people and vendors fell out of the frozen time they had been placed in and started to clean up the area. He quickly turned into a dark and empty alleyway, staring at Rafeal. "What is it you wish to discuss?"
-
Rafeal gripped the necklace around his neck tightly, staring at Katashi. Carefully, he unwound it and pulled it away from his neck. He inhaled, his green eyes glowing. He began to speak out loud now, holding the pearls in his fist. "Our boss would like to.. Personally congratulate you, for taking on my brother and the werewolves. They are some of our strongest members." He smiled to Katashi. "We were asked to destroy you, if we believed you weren't worthy of being allies. However, after watching how you fight, I believe you are more that worthy of that. On behalf of my boss, I'd like to offer an alliance between the Jade Vipers and.." He paused, looking at Katashi. "What is the name of your group?"
-
Katashi looked at Rafeal and crossed his arms. "We are the Wolfsbane Strikers." he said, his tone slightly condescending. He didn't know wheither to believe Rafeal or not. It honestly seemed to good to be true, but he also wanted to see where this went. "Tell your boss, I want to speak with him or her personally if we are to make such an allegiance. I only speak to the main man, or woman...in such matters." he said, looking at the alleyway and then Rafeal. "And, it would be wise to teach Peter some manners. He won't get very far if we made an allegiance." Katashi walked out of the alleyway and stole a glance at Peter and Pan, then Gabreal. "We'll see each other again, but until then, farewell." Katashi gave them a slight wave and started to walk toward his headquarters.
-
Rafael watched Katashi go, the necklace still in his hand. For a moment, he looked as if he had something more to say. However, he turned around, walking back to the others as he put the necklace back on.
Peter grabbed Rafael angrily, his ears flattened against his head. "Why did you let him talk to you like that!? I heard every word, you know. Not to mention, you could have stopped him with your magic! He shouldn't be making demands like that--" Peter stopped, staring at Rafael. The two had unspoken words between him, but he understood that he should not speak at that time.
Gabrael glanced over at them, stretching. He wasn't injured, but Peter and Pan had suffered some scratches and bruises. "How about we get the boss to come? Rafael put a tracker on them. We know where they are.." -
(Sly Rafael OwO)
Katashi soon made it to his headquarters in no time. He felt pretty sure of himself, but he still felt as if there was something he was missing. He opened the door and it squeaked quietly. It was dark, just how he liked it, but it took quite a bit for his eye to adjust to. He looked to his right and saw the girl from earlier was still hand-cuffed to the pipe. Katashi walked over to her and caressed her cheek, then tapped the handcuff with his walking stick. "Tell your father the next time he doesn't pay, you will never return home." he said as the girl let out a slight whimper and ran outside the door. Katahi shut the door behind her, then spotted a slight blood trail. This made Katashi worried and his heart beat rapidly in his chest. If they had killed any of his men, there would be no allegiance. He slowly made his way upstairs and towards Drayven's room. As he stood in the doorway, he could see the wounds on his chest were worse than the young boy let him believe.
Katashi walked over to him and kneeled over his bed, peering into the boys eyes. They were slightly clouded over, but if they could get him a blood transfusion, he would be fine. Katashi paced from one end of the room to the other, thinking about where he was going to get the blood, then Briar peeked in the doorway. Katashi's eyes lit up and pulled Briar into the room. "Briar, I need you to sit in the chair beside Drayven's bed for me." Briar nodded, slightly confused, but compliant. -
(He's a sneaky "mute". ;3)
Peter and Pan returned to the makeshift base they had in the town while Gabreal and Rafael waited patiently for their boss to show up. Despite the commotion that had seemingly just occurred, the townsfolk were peacefully continuing their lives. Eventually, two men arrived beside the brothers.
One was tall and lanky, with bright blonde hair and a unique shade of coffee brown. He had red glasses perched on his nose. The other was shorter, with a bit more muscle. His midnight black hair fell in messy strands along his face. His eyes matched the shade of the blonde. Both were dressed up in suits. The blonde smiled at Rafael, placing a hand on his back. "Where are they, my favorite little tracker?" Rafael nodded his chin in another direction, starting off. Gabreal stayed by the duo's side, alert. Calmly, he said, "They have injured men. Should we offer to help them?"
Giovanni shrugged his shoulders, a bored expression on his face. "We could get Yang to come, I guess. I don't want him to heal them if they aren't ensured to join us.." Gabreal shook his head, glancing at the townsfolk. "They will. I am sure of it. The only thing they dislike is Peter's attitude. Of course, he will get over himself, so it is of no concern--"
"Thank you, Gabreal. Please go back and fetch Yang for us." Emeraldo cut in, smiling at the white haired boy. Gabreal swallowed, dipping his head. "Yes, sir." He took off back to the base, leaving Emeraldo, Giovanni, and Rafael alone. -
(I have a feeling Rafeal has a lot more things up his sleeves x3)
Briar adjusted himself in the wooden chair beside Drayven's bed. He didn't feel comfortable being this close to Drayven when he was like this, but who was he to argue with the boss. Katashi looked at him, pulling out a clear looking piece if hose. It looked like something you would find in a hospital. Briar's eyes widened as he realized what he was going to do. "D-do you really think this is a good idea?" he said his voice trying not to break. If there was one thing that he hated in this world, it was getting his blood drawn. Briar started to shake slightly but Katshi held his arm with a tight grip. "Damien!!!" he yelled. "I need you in here, and bring me the sewing kit and a hot iron!" He could hear Damien's footsteps go from the second floor to the ground floor speedy quick. -
(A bit, ye)
As the trio walked through the town, Emeraldo attempted to hold a conversation with Rafeal. Giovanni could only listen quietly, hearing the blonde as if he was speaking to himself. The walk through the twin felt strange to him. Even if none of the citizens seemed to be a threat, he felt a strange aura hovering above the town. A shiver ran down his spine.
They arrived at the location sooner than they expected. Seemingly right on time, a man with wings made of bright light swung down and landed beside him. He smiled at Giovanni, his wings disappearing in a puff of sparkles. "What's the job today, my favorite boss?" Giovanni stared at him, not responding. Emeraldo glanced over, nodding to the door. "We want an alliance," he explained. "You're going to help. Rafeal--" Rafeal opened the door, smirking at them. Pretending to feel touched, Emeraldo placed a hand over his heart and bowed halfheartedly. "Thank you~" -
(Let's see where this goes :D)
Damien quickly ran back up the stairs, trying to hold the hot iron carefully. He didn't want it to touch his skin. After all Katashi had enough problems to deal with right now. He walked into the room, shutting the door behind him, setting the sewing kit beside Katashi and gave Drayven a quick look. His skin a turned an even lighter shade of white and Damien ran his hand through his hair. "Come on Drayven. Push through." he said, grinding his teeth together. Katashi looked at Briar and tied a rubber band, just above the veins in his arm. He opened the sewing kit and started to sew up Drayven's wounds. It took him a couple of moments, but it was finished. It looked like he wouldn't need the iron after all. He looked in the box for a pair of scissors and looked at Briar. "This is going to sting a bit." he said, making an incision and putting the rubber hose in the cut. He did the same to Drayven's arm, except no blood flowed from his wound. Briar looked at him, hoping this would work. Damien paced around the floor as Briar turned a pale shade of white. "Katashi, it's n-not working." he said, doubling over and took the hose out of his arm, motioning for Damien or Katashi to pass him a sewing needle, as blood slowly dripped onto the floor. Katashi handed him some needle and thread and he started to sew up the tiny cut.
Katashi shook his head and looked at Damien. "What else could we do. I've done everything I know how to do. My magic doesn't heal wounds like this.....wait." he said, turning around heading toward the basement of the building. He still had a few magic spheres in his backup supply. Maybe if he used some of them, he could heal Drayven. -
(i feel so bad, omg. I've introduced you to all of my brother sets. Peter & Pan, Emeraldo & Giovanni, Gabreal & Rafael, and Yang & Ying.)
Emeraldo entered through the door first, with Giovanni right behind. Yang waited patiently for the two to enter before following after them, his golden eyes widening at the sight of the base. It was dark, and he could barely see two feet in front of him. He grabbed onto Giovanni's shoulders, clinging to him to make himself feel better. "Where are they?" The healer asked, peering over his shoulder to look inside. He got no response from either boss. Instead, Giovanni started off towards a room, adjusting his tie as he went. Emeraldo went in an opposite direction, leaving Yang to decide who to follow. He followed Giovanni.
Giovanni found a room where many men were gathered around a bed. He assumed that the injured man was the one that Yang was there to heal. Softly, he asked, "Where is your leader? Is he here?"
Meanwhile, Emeraldo had found someone that appeared to be alone. Smiling, he slid his hands into his pants pockets, keeping his distance. "You must be Katashi," he hummed. "Rafeal told me all that he knows about you. What are you doing down here, in.." He paused, looking around. After a moment, he concluded what to call the room. "The basement. What are you doing in the basement?" -
(I love how all of their names go together though :3)
Damien looked at the men who had entered the room and stepped in front Drayven protectively. "He's here. Just not in this room." he said, his tone quiet harsh as he glanced back at Drayven. "Why are you here?" He gritted his teeth together, not wanting to move away until Katashi came back up to the room.
Katashi twirled around, but not before stuffing two magic orbs in his over-coat. "Who wants to know?" he responding, gripping the top of his walking stick. He wasn't expecting visitors today. Especially not ones that he didn't know. -
(TBH I did all of it on accident x'D)
Giovanni held out a hand to Damien, not batting an eye at his harsh tone. "I am Giovanni," he said. "The man behind me is Yang. We're here to offer an alliance between our groups." A frown crossed over his expression, and he looked sternly at Damien. For a moment, his outstretched hand faultered. He quickly recovered its original position. "My brother said to wait before offering to heal that man behind you, but I'm afraid if I wait he might die. Would you be so kind as to allow Yang over?"
Yang popped out from behind Giovanni, a smile on his face. Cheerfully, he chirped, "I have no damaging magic! I could possibly punch you if you wanted, but you wouldn't feel much." Giovanni reached a foot back and stomped on Yang's, causing the man to yelp. Irritated, Yang added, "He's the only cruel one here. Trust me.."
Emeraldo walked up to him, placing his hands in his pockets. For a moment, his look was sinister. "I heard you didn't want anything to do with an alliance unless the boss was here. So I'm here." He pulled a hand up, twirling it in a circle above their heads. "My brother is my trusted right hand man, and he's waiting for you up there. Say something wrong, and he'll know what to do to your men."
