_Sarjah_ NoviceLux sat in the dining hall scribbling his messy writing down into his book trying to get his homework done. The loud chatter that filled the hall was ringing against his ears loudly making it hard for him to concentrate the loud pounding in his ears made his handshake. He groaned dropping him pencil and closed his notebook, he rubbed his hands against his face. He closed the few books he had on the table in front of him and slid them in the bag he had with him along with the notebook, he'd have to finish the homework later.
Lux was somewhat curious as to why they were all called down earlier than usual, the teachers had told them during the last class of the day to be at dinner half an hour earlier then usual. He didn't really care that much as he usually studied in the dining hall before dinner it was just louder earlier so he'd gotten less done then usual. He heard a loud laugh and looked over at the red bouncing hair walking into the room the girl with the green uniform stood out from the other few blue ones, his eyes met his sisters and she looked away after she said bye to her friends she pulled out a book walking over to the table. Lux looked down at the table and placed his elbow down on the table and rested his head on his hand. -
Ryou hummed softly as he looked up at Hogwarts, a small smile spreading across his face. He glanced around curiously as he was led inside by a teacher, tilting his head when he saw some suits of armor. He heard voices and the teacher told him to wait by a door untill he was called in.

Lux closed his eyes and waited for the meal to start of for his attention to be drawn up to a speaking teacher or staff member. "Stop being a child ask him. " Someone whisper yelled behind him,
"Fine, shut up." The growled back, "Uh hey, Lux." Lux looked up to see a kid from his alchemy class.
"Uh hey, Eion right?" The kid who's uniform had yellow on it nodded and looked back at the girl who was with him and she gave him a look and he looked back at Lux. "Do you need something?" Lux asked. Eion nodded and opened a book,
"Can you help me with his I don't... get it." Lux looked at the writing in the book of the stuff that was covered in class earlier.
"Oh yeah, sure." He pulled out a pencil and wrote some noted in the book, "Do you have your notes as well?" He asked while writing, the boy juggled to grab the book while keeping it steady while Lux wrote. When he was done he pulled out a purple pen and grabbed the notebook, quickly reading it it made some notes in it and fixed something. "That help?" He asked handing the book back, they looked up from the textbook to read it, a huge smile cracked across his face,
"Thanks, Lux! This will help a lot!"
"Uh, yeah no problem." There attention was drawn up to the front.
"Bye Lux!" He yelled and the two hufflepuffs ran off to their table. The teacher started talking loudly, a little too loudly for Lux's preference. -

Ryou ran a rand through his messy hair as he waited, trying to get it to lay relatively flat. But of course, it just poofed back up in to the unruly mess it always was. He sighed and then pulled out his wand to look at it, starting to get bored of waiting. He heard someone talking loudly in the great hall and then smiled as he was asked to come through the door, so he put away his wand and did just that, smiling brightly at all of the people he saw -

Lux narrowed his eyes slightly as the teacher spoke, a new student, transfers were rare. The only other transfer he's heard of was a girl when his brother was still going to Hogwarts, she was a year younger and thrown into Ravenclaw and his sister was friends with her until she left. When the kid came in he looked at him and followed him with his eyes, the kids at his table started cracking jokes with in about three seconds of seeing him. -

Ryou mentaly scowled when he heard them but didnt let any of his emotions show through his cheery mask. He lifted a hand and waved shyly at everyone. "Hello, im Ryou Bakura. Nice to meet all of you" he said when the teacher told him to introduce himself before he glanced at the teacher as she pulled out a wrinkled old hat. -
Lux dropped his head into his hand and starred up at the front boredom probably way too obvious in his look. He heard the cracks at the kid not really trying to listen but hearing them anyways, he glanced at the empty spot beside him, the spot that was always empty and sighed doubting that it would be soon occupied by the kid but also really hoping that it wouldn't be.

Ryou sat down on tge stool as he was told and silently cringed when the hat was set on his head. He heard in mumbling something about clever little minds before it shouted "Slytherin!" causing Ryou to let a smirk slip past his mask before quickly hidding it with a cheerful smile. The teacher took the hat off his head and then he walked over to the Slytherin table and sat down in an empty spot

Lux's nose wrinkled up when the hat called his house, he sat up straighter noticing what he knew no one else did. He still heard the grumbling from around him but chose to ignore it, the people at the tables sifted leaving no room for a person except beside him. He groaned quietly and shifted when the guy came and sat next to him, his mind went a mile a minute trying to think, he brought his hand up to his mouth and grabbed his nail between his teeth as he thought.

Rypu looked at him curiously before he started looking around at his new house mates, silently memorising their faces and trying to figure out their names. After a few minutes he stopped and pulled a small book out of his sleeve and a pencil before he started writing notes down on all of the different students, making sure to use Kanji so if anyone took his book no one (hopefully) would be able to read it -
Lux too his nail out from his teeth and sighed, maybe he was overthinking this it didn't really matter that much at the moment, he couldn't do anything at the moment anyways. He looked over the guy's shoulder, stealing a quick glance he was about to say something when his name was screamed and one of his little sisters came screaming towards him. He ducked her body barely missing him and she did a tumble, rolling over herself, on the ground. "Lux, tell me how to do this!" She yelled jumping back up like the bouncy ball she is. He dropped his head back in his hand,
"No." He deadpanned
"Why not?" She whined like a child.
"Don't remember." He lied
"Rose-" Lily started
"Comeoncomeoncomeon!" She yelled quickly, "Give me the answers tell me. Tellmetellmetellme!" She placed her hands on his shoulders and bounded up and down as he spoke.
"Rose do your own work, if you paid attention maybe you'd understand." He said with a bored tone.
"You're no fun!" She complained and moped away.
"This was in with the stuff from mom this morning, its from dad," She tossed a letter on the table, "Need that big brain of yours or something..." She walked away following her tornado of a sister -
Ryou smiled in amusment as he watched them out of the corner of his eye and once they had walked off her asked, "are they your siblings?" with his head tilted slightly and letting his white bangs fall in his face.

Lux nodded and sighed with a slight chuckle, "Yeah, they're my younger sisters... unfortunately more often than not." He picked up the letter folding it unevenly in a billion and one ways and stuffed it in his pocket.

Ryou laughed softly before adding a few more things to his book and then putting it away. He then looked at the boy next to him "so whats your name?" he asked politely after brushing his hair out of his face

He looked over at him and studied him for a brief moment skepticism leaking through in his actions, "Lux." He said, "Ryou, right." He said but it wasn't a question, "Where are you from?"
