Blake curled up when she heard footsteps coming towards the basement door.

Dante used his sword to cut away the wallpaper and kicked it open

Blake flinched and then turned invisible, trembling in fear.

Dante walked down the stairs and sniffed before frowning "alright whose there

Blake lets out a soft whimper and slowly made herself visible to him,her wings curling around herself.

Dante blinked and tilted his head in confusion"and who are you?" and how tge hell dudyou get in this basement?

"...My name's Blake and I've been hiding in this basement for as long as I can remember...."Blake said softly as her wings twitched.

Dante rested his sword on his shoulder "and whys that?" he asked curiously

Blake looked down at the floor"Because....hybrids like me don't suppose to exist...us hybrids were to be terminated or forced to join the king's army if any were to be born and....I don't want to die.."She said as a tear rolled down her cheek.

Dante burst out laughing "well ypu can stay then, sreing as im on the kings s--- list as well

Blake suddenly perked up as she looked up at him"R-Really?"

He nodded "as long as you dont mind helping around the house and dealing with my ass

Blake smiled slightly and stood up"Sorry about eating your pizza and your other items in your fridge..."
