Starting after this post. Posting order is myself, jhulio, Roboticlus Prime, and then Lil Kitty. If someone else joins, they will just follow the order and add themselves at the end. If no one replies within 24 hours, post your response. If one person disappears for more than 3 days (without warning), we will consider them inactive and continue the soap without them.
Starting where our kids just arrive to the Camp! -
Joon gripped the branches of the tree tightly, his eyes wild with delight. He had heard rumors that the camp was hidden within the heart of the forest, but he hadn't believed they were true. However, they were accurate. He could feel the magic swarming all around him. Using minimal effort, he shoved himself off of the branch, landing on his feet on the ground. He began to run in a short sprint. There was a shift in the air as everything seemed to slow around him; he was running through the barrier that kept the camp protected from harm's reach. As he slowed down, the view that had been nothing but dense forest was now a vast clearing. Tents were pitched all over the place, but some semi-permanent buildings were scattered around. Magical beings were interacting with each other, and magic seemed to ebb from everything in sight. This was camp Absconditum.
Misaki cut back brush that was in her way with her sword, her hair wild from the humidity. It was summer, and this region was known for being hot. She scowled, wiping beads of sweat from her brow. She hadn't seen anyone around for miles, but she felt as if she was almost to the camp. Suddenly, she felt her shoe lock paths with something else. A scream escaped her throat as she fell forward, hitting hard against the ground. -
Though Ace and Tatsuya walked side by side, they were silent. Completely silent. Neither of them said a word to eachother, the aura clearly tense with anger. The click of hooves and the sound of scales hitting scales were the only sound that seemed to consume their small piece of the forest. They wanted in, and they wanted in fast. The half imp's head turned to give Ace a look, the part faun hissing and pulling deep into his cape. This was the worst of his trips. It had to be. Sharing paths with the elder cousin- it made Ace's skin crawl at the thought, and made him pulse with anger as the daydream was made into reality. After a small shove through thick underbrush, the two found themselves at a change of mind, a change of aura. With the realization that they'd finally found themselves in the camp, they parted ways, a steady trot in different directions.
Bo had been in the camp for quite some time. He had found a way to simplify the trip to the camp was a quick swim through a small but strong-currented river running near. He watched familiar and unfamiliar faces enter the camp, sat under the shade of a tree to protect his readily hydrated body from further damage. -
Flying through the air with the greatest of ease was Ash. He knew from past experience that flying was the only way to travel for him. He simply flew over the forest to the camp. Once there, he landed and walked to his cabin.
Kate had transformed into her snake form in order to make it through the forest easier and quicker. It took her a little bit longer but she eventually made it to the camp. -
Kiora walked tensely through the forest. It was shady and quiet here, very different from home. She was alone, giving her even more creeps. She'd heard the tales of Camp Whisper and hoped that she wouldn't be the camp's next victim. She tried to cheer up as she imagined all the other kids there who could be the unlucky one. Her stomach was in knots.

Joon approached a duo, a purebred human and a fairy. The two seemed to be deep in their discussion, but when they heard him approaching, they ceased talking. He held up his hand, smiling. "Didn't mean to interrupt."
"It's fine," the human male said. "What's on your mind, Joon?"
"Oh, I was just wondering if it's the same setup as last year. The campers go to whatever cabin or tent they please, right?" The fairy nodded, smiling at him. He smirked, nodding. "As I thought. Thanks, Leon and Jasmine." Joon started off towards a lone tent. No one had claimed it. He sat down, gazing at the sky.
Misaki began to push herself up as she felt a bit of energy leave her. She looked up to see a familiar spirit above her. Sighing, she stood, shaking her head. "I'm fine," she hissed. "You don't need to stay." The spirit stared at Misaki, looking suspiciously at her, before it dissolved into thin air. After a moment, the teen felt the energy return to her body. She brushed off the dust on her body, starting her trek through the forest again. -

Aceteses waltzed to tent that was currently furthest from was Tatsuya had sat on the other side of the camp. He didn't know if it was claimed; though it appeared empty and unused. Either way, he slipped nimbly into the tent to shield himself from the sunlight that had blinded his vision, wrapping his tail around himself and settling down. Peaceful. Though the sound of city bustle muffled through royal walls was relaxing, the idea of only four more short years of visiting the camp which contained the lowly people he hated so much (and sort of liked, but mostly hated) was heartwarming in itself. He had a sense it'd all pass by quickly, however unsure, and he could finally leave to his royal duties without the breaks each year for a dumb camp he'd marked pointless.
Bo let out a sigh with an flare of his gills, letting out the water which had filtered through them. He drifted in the small pond that pooled into Camp Absconditum from the stream that had brought him there. The day was relatively hot. The water felt good on his skin, water that he was bound to from his family's reign. Freshwater fish were all curious to what the bigger fish was and how it'd gotten there. This wasn't uncommon, Bo had found, especially when he didn't view them as prey. He was too tired to bother a short-lived chase for a couple bites of raw fish. Cooked fish tasted better. -
(Hey Jhulio, I had an idea. Considering you said Bo was gay, what if he had a crush on Ash, considering they're both dragons. However Ash has a crush on Kate and Kate, who doesn't know he's gay, has a crush on Bo. What do you think?)
Ash sat in his tent unpacking all his stuff. He wondered if anyone would be in the tent with him, like a roommate. He decided to walk around and meet anyone he didn't already know. He came across an imp hybrid and said "Hey."
Kate soon changed back to her normal form near a small pond. She adjusted her glasses and saw a sea dragon hybrid in the water. She felt a sort of instant attraction to him but was too nervous to say anything to him. -
(good idea! also, i have some plots in mind if you'd like to 1x1 with me)
