Olivia huffed in frustration when she couldn't find the lawn mower. She took a deep breath and turned around to see a boy approaching her. She didn't hesitate and walked up to him.

Loki heard his brother and nodded to himself as he put boxes of frozen rats and mice in his personal freezer

Alan said to the girl "Um, hello. My name is Alan and I'm your new neighbor. My brother Loki and I just moved in down the street."

"I'm Olivia." Olivia put her hands forth for a shake, "Its really nice having new neighbours. Especially nice neighbours. The people that lived in your house before were meanies. They always littered and loitered around."

Alan nervously shook Olivia's hand and said "Well, I can assure you that there will be no littering while we're here."

Olivia chuckled softly, "Your parents?"

Alan's good mood quickly turned sad when she asked that. He didn't want to tell her, he and Loki were orphans, so he lied "Um, they are kinda busy all the time, so we don't really see them much."

"Oh." Olivia said, awkwardly, "I'm sorry for asking." -
Alan said "It's fine. What about your parents?"

Olivia smiled, "They...went....to...see the opera." She looked down. Dang!

Alan said "Okay. Well, I'm gonna see the other neighbors, stop by anytime." H e shook her hand again and said "Goodbye and walked away.

Olivia waved and stroked her short brown hair, "Now, where is that lawn mower?"

Alan walked around the neighborhood and greeted everyone. He soon finished and came back home.

Olivia was done with lawn mowing. She was returning the machine and that's when she saw a bunny.
