Galaxic NewbieEric nodded with her words, driving down the back streets at an understandable speed when patrolling officers or street cameras are out of sight. ''I'll be there soon, Dixie. Don't worry about it.'' He hummed as Eric soon saw the building coming into view. The lights of the apartments seemed quite large and expensive. His bank account would be suffering if he were to try to afford to live in one apartment with Dixie. With his pale lips parted, Eric gasped at the sight. ''Wow.'' He has never seen such expensive items before in his life as he was rather poor compared to most students at the college. ''Uh..I'll be there soon, Dixie.'' Eric mused, hanging up the phone. Despite his colorless world, he had hopes of beauty such as the items within the lobby of the apartments.
Settling his car within a visit only parking lot, Eric jogged his way around to the front of the apartment building. ''Wow, how much money does she have?'' Eric questioned to no one in particular as the polished floors touched his cheap sneakers. Hands stuffed into his jeans, as Eric approached the receptionist. With her eyes widened with the surprise of the poor man she cleared her throat, a fake smile appearing on her lips. ''How may I help you, sir?'' The receptionist said, her voice full of fake kindness. ''Here to see Dixie. She's a friend of mine.'' Eric said, his voice low. ''Of course, I'll send you right up.'' Her voice trailing as she pointed to the direction of where he should head off to next. With a hum, Eric headed towards the elevator. -
Dixie nodded starting to cry as the spider moved towards her. "Hurry Derek" she said before he hung up. She started to freak when he being up. "DEREK!" She screamed. She pulled her towel tighter around her and set her phone down. She whimpered as the spider moved on the bath tub. She looked every where to find something to throw but the nearest thing was a hairbrush. She couldn't ruin her hairbrush. She just couldn't. It was too far anyway and she didn't want to move and scare the spider out of her sight.
She silently cried and waited for Derek to get there. Hopefully quick. -
Galaxic NewbieThe elevator soothingly stopped as the elevator doors opened with a ring. ''I-I'm here, Dixie. Where's the spider!'' Eric called as he stuffed his phone into pockets that surround the device, securely. Eric felt his sneakers squeak against the floorboards, as he continued walking. With the faint cries, Eric didn't dash to the woman's rescue but, rather took his time. He was astonished by the great walls and interior of such an expensive home. ''Wow...'' He whispered as he grabbed a lounging magazine of various woman's clothing as he sighed. With a dull expression, tired eyes he continued to follow the cries. ''Dixie? You there?'' Eric called, as he reached the rather large bathroom. The bathroom may have been the size of his own room but, he didn't let amazement overtake him as he spotted the girl, crying. Eric couldn't have believed it was that bad over an intruding spider, as he held his breath. He feared his laughter will only hurt her heart. Chewing on his bottom lip, Eric spoke. ''Where is it?''
-
"Eric!" She called. "I'm in here!" She yelled. She pulled the towel tighter around her and blushed as he walked in. "I-I was too scared to move. I'm pretty sure it's a brown recluse. That thing is huge!" She rambled out pretty embarrassed. She pointed towards the tub. The spider was closer than it wa sbeofre when she wasn't watching. She screamed and scooted backwards with more force then needed. She hit her shoulder on the cabinet and started bleeding. "I swear between that spider and my shoulder I am done." She muttered. She started to cry again. "I'm gonna die because of a freaking spider and I'm going to bleed out." She muttered again. The wound was pretty deep and long so she would probably need stitches. She began to cry a little. She looked at her shoulder and winced in pain. "I swear I have been in freaking fights worse then this." She muttered once more and began to slowly cry. Slowly breaking down.

Galaxic NewbieWith a sigh escaping his lips, ''It's fine, shouldn't be too bad.'' A late night trip to the hospital was his least of his worries. He often took his illnesses into his own hands, not having time to see medical help. Eric had that experience more than a few times unless it was urgent. Eric moved slowly towards the spider, with the spider in his view he groaned. The spider wasn't that bad. The swing to the spider and one blow, and a crush with his fingers on top of the magazine. ''It's dead. Didn't put up much of a fight.'' Eric declared with a puffed out chest. He placed the magazine on the tiled floor with a hum. ''You should get dressed, don't want your wound to get infected. Probably go to the hospital, right? I'm more of an art-person rather than a doctor.'' Eric said, rubbing his neck sheepishly at how useless he may seem. All he did was rush over to Dixie's apartment and kill a spider. Now he had to comfort a crying, bleeding girl. What an interesting night.
-
Dixie gasped as he killed it. "I swear that thing was going to attack me!" She looked at the blood on her heated tile bathroom floor. "I'm going to have to get new tile too!" She said. "Yeah I probably should get dressed. I really don't need another infected wound in a month." She muttered the last bit about a wound to her self a little too loud. She meant to keep it to herself. She pulled herself up and winced at her shoulder. She walked over to her closet in the bathroom. She walked into it and kinda disappeared. She went to the very back of her bathroom closet and looked at the clothes and sighed. "I have nothing to wear." She muttered. She looked through and decided on a whit crop-top and black Capri Nike yoga pants. She through on some nike shoes too. She walked out and sighed as she looked at her shoulder.

''Alright, let's go. You fine with me driving?'' Eric questioned. His throat tightened at the words that escaped his lips. His old car must be nothing compared to Dixie's. Throat burning, and stomach churning he could practically feel the butterflies. Cracking his knuckles, he pulled out his cheap phone looking at the time. He had to finish his painting yet he can't let her go to the hospital alone. ''We could always call an ambulance. I don't know the area well, we'll have better chances getting to the hospital rather than following Google Maps.'' A simple white lie was his card he played. He knew the area well enough not to get lost. Surely, though his somewhat helpful friend, Google Maps had gotten him lost quite a few times with his s--- car. He was unsure of what to do at this moment, it all depended on Dixie's words.
-
She nodded but then listened to see what else he had to say. "We can just let my chauffeur drive us to the hospital. I mean you orbabaly have better things to do." She said looking down. "Sorry I bothered you I just kinda freaked out." She said. Her arm has some blood going down it. "I'm sure I can by myself if you have better things to do." Dixie said with a gentle smile. She got a makeup wipe and wiped the blood off her arm. She looked at the floor and shook her head at the blood splattered on it. She looked at Eric for his reply to her words.

Sorry if my replies are short)

It's fine.)
Eric looked over at her, fiddling with the hems of his pockets. ''We can do that,'' Eric said his throat tightening. With his left hand in the air to protest, he smiled. ''No, no. It's fine, seriously.'' Eric said, waving his hand. ''I only have an art project to finish, that's all. We should go.'' Eric continued. His outstretched hand grasped her smaller one. ''Lead the way.'' He hummed. Hopefully, his words reassured her. -
She smiled and stood up still held his hand and began to walk towards the door of her apartment. She opened the door and walked through dragging him along. She pressed a button on the outside of her apartment and a young lad came up. "Which one of your cars?" He asked "The Bugatti." She Replied instantly and they were led to a car parking deck. There were 9 cars and they were Dixie's.
-
Eric's cheeks were tinted pink as his gaze settled on their intertwined fingers. The warmth from Dixie's hand warmed his soul. A smile reached his chaste lips whilst the two walked along their way. ''Bugatti.'' He whispered, the words falling from his lips. Eric had never been in such a car before, his heart stopped. Having never been in such an expensive car with dirt covered shoes, he shuffled on his feet. ''Um, we could always still call an ambulance. It'll be far much quicker.'' Eric stammered, still nervous of being in such an expensive car.
-
Dixie shook her head. " Non-sense. We can take my car.' She grinned. Dixie squeezed his hand then her chauffeur opened the back door on the side they were standing and motioned for Eric to step in. Dixie let go of his warm hand a lonely pit in her stomach when she let go. She walked to the other side and got in.
