Hutch said "We may surrender now, but we won't give up escaping." Brute untangled Archaios' and Hutch's feet and stood them up. He said "Then I won't stop making you fail." He pulled the chain to get them moving to the cells.

Ellie cried and gave up. She was lucky her father loved her... Because otherwise she was useless.

Archaios whimpered softly and started walking

Brute lead them back to the cells and put Ellie and Hutch back in. Just as he was about to put Archaios back in Cooper said "Wait. Put him in a solidary cell, so that escape is harder, and keep him guarded at all times." Brute said "Yes, your eminence."

Ellie ran to her mother and hugged her. In shock from such emotion in her daughter, who was normally uncaring, Amelia held her daughter and glared at Brute. Little did she know, dispite the trauma from Ellie's past that she had ignored then but all came up at her during the escape... This experience was good for Ellie. Because for once Ellie didn't feel like her father's doll. She felt a soul. First emotions.

Brute took Archaios to the solidary cell and shoved him in. He said "Get comfortable. You'll be in here a long time." and he closed the door. -

Archaios fell to the ground and curled up in a ball as he started crying

Ellie wiped her tears away and frowned. Did all fathers keep their children in one room? All her life she thought yes. So she never bothered to wonder.
"Daddy!!!" Sofi cheered, noticing her father again. Amelia kept Sofi away from the bars as she pointed her arms at her father. -
Cooper said "I'm surprised you didn't want to escape Amelia."

"I hoped you could be reasoned with." Amelia told Cooper, feeling a tear fall down her cheek as Ellie walked to sit in the corner and cry. "But a man who imprisons his own family can't be reasoned with. I see that now." She told him, laying down in her bed.

Archaios crawled to the corner of his new cell and leaned on the wall as he turned his head to look at his damaged wing

Cooper Black said "I just want a better life for you." His horns and claws from earlier started to disappear as he said "I didn't want us to be slaves anymore. But I guess this isn't any better is it?"

Sofi looked at her mom and dad, confused. "Daddy?" She asked, tilting her head at him.
