"The one where-" Abi began, but she quickly lost the courage. She was going to talk about the Dare to kiss her... But instead talked about something else. "Uh... where he dared you to eat half a stick of butter!" Abi laughed.

Courtney smiled but when abi said it was the dare about eating half a stick of butter...she rolled her eyes and didn't respond.

"Uh... Sorry... That's uh... not what I meant." Abi replied, blushing with embarrassment. "I meant the Dare where Josh dared you kiss me." She whispered. She layed silent in the silence, holding her breath as she waited for the response.

Courtney slowly turned to Abi, "So...what are you trying to say?" She asked, smirking a little.

"Uh..." Abi replied, blushing and turning pale. She was pale enough that the night light reflected her face. So her blushing was noticeable. "Why did you chicken out? Just curious." Abi replied, smirking.

"Chicken out?" Courtney blinked. And she did see her blush.

"You don't know what chicken out means?" Abi asked, laughing.

"I don't." Courtney replied, "Isn't that obvious?"

"It means to not do something cause You're scared." Abi replied, laughing and rolling her eyes.

"I'm not scared. I can do it." Courtney said, "I-I mean..."

"Bet not." Abi replied, smirking. She hoped that would come off as teasing.

Courtney's eyes twitched, "I can." She was now serious.

"Bet not." Abi teased, blushing a bit and smirking.

"We'll see." She stood up and walked to Abi's bed.
She bent down and leaned close to Abi giving her light kiss.
"Wanna keep betting not or?" She smirked. -
Ami blushed and smiled. "Maybe." She laughed, grinning.
