yugi tilted hi head in confusion "that sounds a little weird" he said after a moment "but as long as they didnt eat you i guess it sounds like fun

Misty said "Wow, to be raised by griffins. I bet you had a fun time."

"They were nice people, though other griffins had tried to kill me once or twice, but I always got away." said Blizzy.

yugi finished eating and then he looked around. "sounds like fun" he said after a moment

Stan said "That hardly sounds like a fun time to me. I prefer not to be threatened to be eaten by birds every single day."

"That's why I spent most of my time at home, there I was safe. My family used to protect me from the other griffins when they could. and that was nice." said Blizzy, wondering if any of them would notice that she was using the past tense for her family.

yugi noticed and he frowned slightly as he sat down "so what happened to them? if you dont mind me asking that is"

Misty said "Yeah what happened?"

"They were killed by dragons, and so were some other griffins." said Blizzy with her ears down, she decided not to tell them how it was all her fault.

yugis ears went down "oh" he said softly "sorry for asking"

Misty said "Aww, that's so sad." She stood up walked to Blizzy and hugged her. She said "Don't worry, we're here for you."

"Thanks." Blizzy said sincerely, "So um, where are you from?" she asked trying to change the subject.

yugi started licking his paws

Misty said "I'm from Tennessee. I have two wonderful parents and an older sister." Stan said "I'm from Arkansas and I've just lived with my mom."
