Kantori and her mother walked upstairs and entered a pink bedroom. Inside, a little boy with pale blue skin and scaley cheeks was playing with a butterfly that flew in. A gorgeous teenage girl with blue freckles and silver eyes brushed her blonde hair. Her blue pupils looked at Zayne, Kantori, and Kantori's mother.

"Would you like to hear it?" He asked.

"I asked my parents once when I was a young elf what makes Dark Elves different. They told me that modern dark elves were mainly born. But originally, Dark Elves are Elves that experience a harsh tragedy." Zandad told her. "When I was but a child, a Demi dragon came into my villiage and burned it down. My parents didn't make it..." He told her.

"After the fire, my skin turned purple and my hair turned black. My eyes turned black and red. When I was a teenager, I hunted down the dragon. And I was determined to sleigh him. The battle was filled with rage. I was... I was determined to kill him... but..." Zandad continued.

"Okay. The story ends with me meeting a woman who sat at a grave yard. She had also lost two important people in her life. One died from hunters and the other died from cancer. I sat beside her, feeling empathy. She didn't seem to notice I was there. Until she began to tell me stories about her husbands. And the children she had with them. I told her my story about fighting the dragon. We sat there telling stories and suddenly she asked me if I would like to go to dinner with her. Ten years later we were married and her children moved out. So we had Zayne." Zandad told her.

"One day I was looking in the mirror... And I remembered what I did after becoming a dark elf. I killed for power so I could get revenge. My wife saw my Greer and took me outside. We planted a tree sapling to resemble new beginnings. In elf culture, you plant a tree sapling after the conclusion of a large life transition." He told Ani. "Is something wrong?" Zandad asked when he noticed her worry.
