Vampires and Werewolves are mortal enemies. In-breeding would be considered as treason and both the parents and offspring would be sentenced to death.
C1 and C2 are both in the library when a fight breaks out between the Vamps and Wolves. C1 has lived with Vamps with their mom their whole life, posing as a vampire, even though s/he is a hybrid. C2 has been living with the Wolves with their dad their whole life, even though s/he's a hybrid.
When the fight breaks out C1 see's their father with the wolves and C2 see's their mother (no they aren't related) so they both refuse to fight,and get exiled from their clan and pack.They run into each other and become friends, and then find out each other's secret.
