C1 is an elf, they have lived a normal life, that was until they found a young and wounded dragon in the forest one day, the dragon is C2, C2 decides they want C1 to be their rider. Dragons have been feared and seen as monsters, and dragon hunts happen often just because people are scared of them, meaning C1 has to keep C2 a secret. I can't think of anything else to add.

Peluda lay on the ground whimpering, it was all she could to keep herself from bleeding out, she was hurting all over and she could barely think, if a bear came along and decided to eat her she was pretty sure she wouldn't notice, she considered just letting herself die, her rider was dead and she didn't see a purpose in life without him. After that brief train of pessimistic thoughts she went back to concentrating on keeping herself from dying.

Peluda was pretty sure she heard someone walking and she smelled an elf nearby, but she didn't care, if they were gonna kill her she would be fine with, grateful even.
