" That makes more sense now...." She said as she kissed him. " I know the Angel league will ban me probably, but it is worth being with you forever"

Derek backed away, "You just don't understand, they won't just ban you, you'll loose your powers and everything you gained while being an Angel, I don't want that to happen, that's why I'm staying away."

" I don't care to lose it all, as long as I have you I am okay." " I would die for you, my love."

Derek blushed, "okay." He switched back to human.

Just then a shooting star in broad daylight went straight above them " What do you think that means Derek?"

"It means our love is infinite." Derek smiled, then frowned, "I know nothing about shooting stars."

" I am going to go with your theory" she said and smiled. " Have you met my dog Jake?"

"No," Derek replied.

As she said that Jake came over and bowled Jade over. She hit her head on a tree and fell unconscious

"Jade!" Derek screamed, he took her to his house and placed her on his bed.
"Jade? Wake up, wake up." He shook her.
Jake was about to jump on her before Derek said, "Sit," and he obeyed. -
Jade could hear him, but couldn't move or say anything, or even open her eyes

"Come on Jade." Derek almost cried, he didn't like seeing her like that.

Jade finally opened her eyes. " He usually don't do that, I don't know I guess he likes you" she rasped hoarsely

"Are you okay?" Derek asked.

" I think so, all I know is I'm too weak to move."
