A teacher came out to get Lawrence. She took him to the class room and asked him to sit on one of the five been bag chairs. There was a blue one, a pink one, a red one, an orange one, and a green one. There was also a yellow rocking chair which another teacher sat on. The EA went back outside to get Monny and do the same thing. Then she went outside to wait for the buses.
-
Lawrence followed the teacher into the room and stood awkwardly with a confused look on his face. He had been expecting another run down room with poor lighting and wobbly desks, not...this. After a bit of staring, he finally seated himself in the pink beanbag, allowing himself to sink into it. He glanced around the room, taking in each detail with his muddy brown eyes. After a bit of looking, Lawrence took a thin notebook from his bag, though he didn't even open it. He just sat and stared off, wondering how the year would be and visualizing what the rest of the classes would be like.
-
"Do you like the class room?" The teacher asked. The wall paper was blue with different colored stars on it. There were different kinds of number and spelling charts on the chalk board. The lights were covered with colorful cloths so the room wasn't too bright but still cheerful. There were three large tables besides a computer desk, teachers desk, and a small desk labeled time out. There was a plain book shelf filled with books on the top and toys at the bottom.
-
Lawrence's trance was broken. He looked around the room again. The cheeriness made him a little sick, in all honesty. It reminded him more of a kindergarten classroom than a highschool classroom. He ducked his head back down. "It's...different." He swallowed hard and looked away, shrinking back slightly. Lawrence was worse than awful at social interactions. He longed to be back at home with his video games.

(I described it based on my experience in special needs classes. And they do look a lot like that.)
"Well, different is the point." She replied. It felt hot in the room, so she opened the windows. She took out a book and sat on the yellow rocking chair. "If you're bored you can read a book or draw." She told him. -
Roleplayatronic NewbieAbigail was quiet on the bus, reluctantly stepping off and talking sort of with molly as they entered the room. She sat on the orange bean bag.
-
Molly sighed. It was quiet. "Are you okay?" She typed. "Or are you just nervous?"
-
Roleplayatronic Newbie"Nervous. This is my first time in a special class, and o think its a stupid concept."
-
Lawrence looked up at the two girls entering the room. He looked back down and fiddled with his notebook. He hated reading and be was no good at drawing. He held his breath lightly and thought to himself.
-
"Well in a normal class they would have bright lights. They would have crowds. They would have noise. And they wouldn't let me use my IPad. I'm not ready for that. I won't be able to get my education unless I'm here." Molly typed. She saw Lawrence and typed the button on her IPad labeled 'Greet' "Hello. My name is Molly. How are you?" Her IPad asked. "What is your name?" The I pad asked Abigail after she pushed 'Meet'.
-
(Wait, does she use her iPad to speak instead of words?)
-
(Molly uses an IPad because she's non verbal.)
-
(Ah okay, sorry)
He glanced at the girl who was speaking to him from her iPad. He gave her a peculiar look, as Lawrence had never seen someone use an iPad to speak before.
"I'm fine." Lawrence said rather coldly. He instantly felt a payne of guilt and added, "How are you?" He tripped over his words with a slight stutter. He kept his head craned downwards and avoided eye contact. -
"I am good." Molly replied. She looked up and smiled. She saw he was uncomfortable and typed. "I have non-verbal Aunt Sam." Her IPad spoke. She glared at her IPad and jabbed her finger on it. "I meant Autism. Curse Autocorrect! Laugh out Loud!"
-
Roleplayatronic NewbieAbigail wondered if she had been talking to her or talking out of her ipad on the bus as she sat down slowly. Slowly she felt tight like in a crowd and calmed herself down. "So wait what?"
