(Change my age to 20)
"This girl is 19 years old, responds to the name Avalon, and is British. A young and beautiful woman. Who wants her? The bidden begins at 100 dollars!" The captain of the ship that Dyla's ship partnered with asked. Several captains had come to bid on several slaves. To be honest, Dyla didn't enjoy being a captain too much. She loved exploring the sea and going on daring missions! But the killing she could do without. But such is the life of a pirate. "One hundred!" One captain shouted. "Two hundred and fifty!" Another shouted. Dyla rolled her eyes at their creepy smirks. She looked at the girl. It was true. She was very beautiful. She would be treated like garbage on the ship of a man. It was then she grabbed some gold and blurted "thirty." She paused for effect as everyone stared at her. "Thirty Pounds of gold!" She finished. "Going once? Going twice? Sold!" The announcer shouted, tossing her the girl. Dyla set the girl down and glared at the other captain before taking the girl on her ship. -
Avalon was nervous as the pirates bid on her. She noticed the looks of them and knew if she were to end up with one of them, it more than likely wouldn't end well for her. Who knows what all they would do to her? Have her do? It scared her as she started to shake a bit. She heard a feminine voice shout out for '30 pounds of gold' as she looked at the source of it. If anything, she would probably be safest overall with them from the others."please.." she pleaded to no one in silence, soon hearing she was sold before being tossed towards the woman who had bought her. She was glad that she managed to catch her before she hit the ground. As her feet touch ground, she sat a quick but quiet "Thank you," to the woman as her head looked down hesitantly going along with them to wherever she was taking her, likely her ship she guessed though.
(Okay) -
Her crew didn't know this, but with all the fantastic crimes she committed, Dyla never actually hurt anyone. She couldn't bare to do it. She loved being a pirate, but not the killing. She felt sad for the poor girl who's family was slaughtered... "No problem. And don't worry. I won't make you do anything ya don't wanna do." Dyla told her. "That's the crews job." She laughed. "You guys go prepare a room for her. The one below my cabin should be easiest one to set up for her." Dyla told her crew. "But... Captain... That's my room." One of the crew mates told her. "Oh, then you can sleep in storage. You're always stealing food from there anyways." Dyla laughed. "Why not you sit down? You're not used to the boat and might fall when it takes off." Dyla told her once the crew got to work, gesturing to a bench.
-
Avalon didn't know for sure if she could trust what the woman was telling her, she may be out to work hard in the end. Who knows? Slowly nodding her head to the woman, she walked over to the bench and sat down upon it. "If you are going to kill me..do it now." she said quietly as her eyes looked down at the floorboards and her one boot. With a sigh, she slowly slipped the boot off, seeing as the matching one would not be turning up anytime soon so why not get rid of it? Make it easier to walk barefoot than with just one boot after all. It was uncomfortable a bit on her as well.
-
Dyla raised an eyebrow and looked around the boat. The crew wasn't in ear shot. "Actually, I never actually killed anyone. So I'm not going to start with you." Dyla laughed. "I'm in it for the adventure! Not the violence." Dyla added. As proof she took out her sword. It was as clean and shiny as the day she got it. Not a single bloodstain. She returned it to her belt and smiled. "So what do you want from life? Though... Maybe a simpler question should be asked first." Dyla laughed. "I'm Dylan. But I call myself Dyla, Dilly, or Dill. I prefer Dyla though." She smiled, shaking the girl's hand. It was warm and soft, not to mention clean. Not that Dyla's hand was dirty of course. "And you are?"
-
"Why not?" Avalon asked quietly, staring at the sword shown to her. It was clean, very. No blood stains on it from what she saw. "How do i know you haven't cleaned off the blood? Or even when you got it? It could be brandmew made for all I know." she said looking to the woman, Ahh now knew as 'Dylan.' Hesitantly at first, she decided to speak a bit more. "Didn't you hear at that..auction? Avalon.." she said, a bit quietly, but loud enough to be heard.
-
"Oh, yes. Sorry." Dyla sighed, seeing the girl's discomfort. It made her feel sad to see such a sweet looking girl seam so sour. "Can I call ya Ava?" She asked. At least she knew her secret wasn't getting out any time soon...
-
"Yeaah." she said, expanding the word as she closed her eyes for a moment, taking a deep breath in. She had to keep calm here after all with all that has happened. Trying not to think of what she saw when her father was killed. Opening her eyes again when 'Dyla' asked her a question. She thought about it for a moment, before nodding her head a bit. "Sure." she replied to her.
-
"Ma'am, we set up the room." The crew announced. "Don't call me ma'am. Call me captain! Honestly! You have eyes for ears! Go clean the deck." She told them. "Let's go see how they did on your room." Dyla suggested. "Oh, and since you had to move your things to storage, you don't have to clean today." Dyla told one of the crew mates. "Thanks captain." He replied. "Instead, go fetch some clean clothes and shoes from my cabin for this girl." She added. He nodded and entered the captains cabin. Dyla grabbed a lantern and walked downstairs.
-
Avalon nodded her head, and stood up. Looking towards the crew members for a moment before they dissapeared. "Thank you." she said again, quietly, following behind Dyla to this room she had apparently been given. She hoped the bed was comfortable here, if anything. If she was to sleep, she would want to be comfortable after all. But who knows how it is? Slightly looking forward to how this room would look a little.
-
The room itself was simple. Wooden walls and floors like the rest of the ship. There was a stack of two mattresses on the floor. And they were comfortable enough. There was a soft comfy blanket stolen from one of the Navy bedrooms and a large pillow. There was a box of books that must have belonged to the past owner of the room. "Do you like it?" Dyla asked.
-
Avalon observedthe room, looking around. The mattresses seemed Lyle they would be comfortable enough causing her o smile a bit. "Its..seems good." she said slowly with a nod. "Yeah, I guess." she said, looking at Dyla. She didn't read alot, so she just overlooked the books that were in there, she likely wouldn't read them.
-
"I'm glad you like it!" She cheered as the crew member came down. "Thankyou Aaron. You can set up your new room." Dyla told the crew member as she handed the clothes and protected slippers to Ava. "I'll leave so you can change." Dyla told her, closing the door and walking upstairs.
-
(I have to go to bed. Goodnight.)

Goodnight)
Avalon nodded her head to the slightly taller woman, looking at the clothes she was handed to change into. She quickly slipped out of what she currently was in, and changed into what she was handed. Slipping on the slippers as well. The clothes fit well, and were comfortable to her.
