Mettaton was helping Alphys set up the steam vents. He asked "Why exactly are we doing this? You didn't build me for heavy lifting."

"It's for my daughter's birthday." Alphys answered. "I also built your other form to put on that performance for the human. You didn't do that either." Alphys added, smirking. Since she married Undyne, she was better at defending herself.

Mettaton said "It's not my fault you wanted to self-insert yourself in the human's story like one of your cartoons."

"Well, well... Well! Welly well welly..." Alphys tried to defend. "Your a bad actor!" She countered. "And... You've never been depressed, so there. Now continue working and quit complaining. Or I'll... Ask Undyne to make a real threat!" Alphys concluded.

Mettaton just smiled at Alphys' lame attempt at a comeback, but did as she said anyway.

"There! Now it's just like the large vent room in Hotland!" Alphys cheered. "If... I remember correctly... that is." She added. Muffet leaped at the creation. "Excellent dearie!" She cheered. Her pet ran around, ruining the springs. "Oh no! I'm so sorry about my pet!" Muffet cried. "Well well welly well well welly..." Alpheys sighed. "We're skipping round one." She sighed as the kids came into the front yard.

Ted asked "Why, what happened?"

"Muffet played fetch and I don't want to spend another hour organizing springs. That's what happened." Alphys replied, trying not to sound rude. She laughed a little to make it sound less upset.

Ted "Well our pet doesn't mean any harm, sorry." Calibri patted his back.

"It's okay." Alphys replied. She liked Muffets pet. "We'll skip to my favorite round!" She cheered, getting out five simulator games. "The first four to beat the game proceed to the next round!" She cheered.

Calibri said "I've really never been that good at dating sims."

"Imagine it's Ted." Lilly whispered to Calibri, laughing a little.

Calibri wanted to say something at that remark, but she shut up. Unfortunately, thinking about Ted wasn't working cause she kept picking the wrong options.
