C1 is a new student in a high school in California. While running late for class, they bumped into C2, who has a group of friends (C3,C4,C5) that really shouldn't get along but they do for some reason. They are nice to C1 and try to become their friends, and several mysteries at their school and in their town give them those opportunities.
