C1 is a dragon rider knight who is loyal to the king, and will do anything to protect the kingdom, but when word comes of a rogue dragon rider(c2), c1 is sent to bring them back how ever, The rouge isnt going to join the kings army willingly.
C2 is one of a few soul bound riders. a soul bound rider is someone whose soul has been damaged enough that is was able to be bound to the soul of another being(usually cats, dragons, and wolves) but the damaged soul is not able to go very far from the soul it was bound to. now you may be asking, how does someone damage there soul? well there are two ways, the first is that you willing kill others in cold blood(this doesn't happen as much) while the other way is threw physical and mental torturer(much more common), which is what happened to C2.
so on top of convincing C2 to join the kings army, c1 also has to get c2 to stop being afraid of every little thing that moves. joy.

Other- Ember and Bonnie have a strong relationship as Bonnie has known Ember her whole life. -

Bonnie came to the royal throne room to receive an important assignment from the king. He told Bonnie to find a rouge dragon rider and recruit him. She saddled up her Dragon Ember and took off. -
glacier growled lowly as he walked beside a river with his unconscious rider laying on his back. he winced whne he put pressure on his left hind leg, silently cursing the humans that had tortured his new partner. he turned his head to check on Fallen, concern flickering across his scaly face as he looked at the teens battered and brused body before he sighed and continued walking

Bonnie flew around to look for the rouge. She said to Ember "Remember, we're looking for an unsaddled ice dragon with a boy on it." They searched around until they saw an ice dragon and decided to take a closer look.

Glacier heard wing beats and quickly started looking around, growling when he saw the fire dragon. he hissed and moved his wings to hide Fallen

(I don't know if dragons can talk, so I'm assuming they can.)
Ember landed near the ice dragon and Bonnie said "You there, have you seen a rouge dragon rider riding an ice dragon around here." -
glacier growled at him and the air started cooling "maybe i have, maybe i havent." he said as he glared at the human "why would it mater to you."
