Becky held the door open for Jenna. It was nighttime. Becky looked at the lovely stars in the sky before turning back to Jenna. "So, what's the deal!?!" She asked, looking at Jenna as if she did something highly offensive. -
"I don't get it" Jenna said, she was really confused.

"That hottie is really into you!!! And you're ignoring him!?!" Becky freaked. After a moment of silence, she calmed down and smiled. "Oh! Wait... I get it! You're playing hard to get, aren't you!" Becky asked.

"No I'm not! I hate him! I just don't know why! But I hate him!!" Jenna yelled

Becky winked. "Riiiight." She smirked before returning to the cabin.
Blake, who was about to visit Jenna but saw her come out and hid around the corner of the cabin, sighed. He slid down the side of the cabin and looked down at his knees. He heard the door close and walked back to his cabin. -
Jenna sighed and walked back to the cabin.

The next morning, Karen dragged Jenna out of bed.

Jenna groaned "What? I want to sleep" she said crawling back to her bed to sleep.

"Common Jenna! We'll be late!!!" Karen yelled. She really wanted to get to the mess hall early. Because they were serving berries, sausage, and whip cream for breakfast! And Karen wanted first dibs at 7:00 because by 7:30 everyone else would head for mess hall. So with Karen being a little one and easy to push out of the way, she would end up with left overs from dinner for breakfast.

"But I'm going for soccer practice today, I ain't got time for food" Jenna said, going back to sleep.

"Fine. I'll go without you. Good luck eating left overs." Karen sighed, saluting Jenna as if she was sacrificing her life. Karen skipped to the door and left it open. (Not the screen door though.) "Last Chance." She told Jenna.

Jenna waved her goodbye.

Karen sighed, gave a moment of silence for the brace soldier, and ran out the door. She was attacked by bugs as she ran to the mess hall. "Oh no! Enemy fire!!!" She yelled, running into the mess hall. "Bugs are bad huh?" The cook, Miss. Foster (Karen's aunt) laughed. "Yes. But such is life in the war." Karen sighed, sitting down at the table and swatting bug bites. "I think my sister watches too many war movies." Miss. Foster laughed, handing Karen a plate of food. "I think they're gonna fire your brother Karen. He volunteered to help me cook dinner last night and must have left some of the meat raw. He also poured my health shake on instead of gravy." Miss. Foster laughed, sitting with Karen to eat her own breakfast.

Jenna sighed in relief "time to go then" she said, getting out of her bed, then to th bathroom. When she was ready she packed her bag and ran to the field.

Blake watched Jenna as she left her cabin. The bugs were very harsh. But he didn't care. He sighed, deciding spying on Jenna probably wasn't a good idea. So he packed his bags and went on his way to soccer. Unaware that was where Jenna went.
