"Basically, I'll keep on acting and then I'll get her to sign the Will, and when she signs it, she'll no longer be queen. I won't actually tell her 'sign the will' I'll say something like 'Its from school and needs your signature on it' or 'a business company' or anything else I can come up with. Then if she tries bossing anyone around, I'll show her who's boss around here. She will definitely pay for killing my father and hurting Mae." She smirked, "Get it? Mae....Me?"
-
"Okay. I think we need a different plain. First of all, can't make her will. Even if she signs it you still Break the law because a Will is made by the lawyer and the person who owns the will. No one else knows of it until the person who owns it dies. Which brings us to secondly. Secondly, she has to die in order for the will to take effect. Thirdly, if she actually reads it because she's not an idiot the plain fails big time. Fourthly, we were pulled out of school by your mom. Fithly, that's a very bad pun." Luke explained, laughing softly at the end.
-
"Then I'll go kill her right now!" Mae joked.
-
"That's not a good plain." Luke replied, rolling his eyes. "That's worse than the will plain." He laughed. Then, suddenly, he passed out.
(No one attacked him. This is something about his powers.) -
"Luke? Luke?" She shook him. "He's unconscious? How come?" She said and looked around but no one was there, what could have possibly happened? She thought.
She tried carrying him back to the castle. She slowly carried him up the stairs and went into his room. Then dropped him on a bed and fell to floor, taking a deep breath.
She stood up and grabbed the water bottle she saw on the table. And poured a little on his face. -
Everything was black for awhile. Until Luke woke up in his bedroom... Only, everything was black and white. The phone rang and Luke answered it. "I've been calling you for hours servant! Go make sure my daughter's ready for the royal ball." A woman's voice told him. Luke blinked and heard someone scream. He rang to a room with two very panicked teenage girls, and a teenage prince passed out on the floor. The older girl's mouth was stained with red. The younger was the one screaming. "Get away! Get away!" The younger girl yelled. "Abigail, its me! I'm your sister! Please understand! He was-" but before the older one could explain, a king and Queen ran into the room. "Minerva!?! What did you do!?!" The Queen shrieked. "Mom! Please! I-" Minerva begged, trying to explain. "That is enough Minerva. We've put up with your... Differences long enough! This has gone too far!" The king yelled. "But he attacked me! I had no choice!" Minerva cried. But no one listened. A bunch of gaurds came in and surrounded the older girl. "We can't have this flaw in our family any longer. Gaurds! Excecute this freak!" The king yelled. Minerva, realizing her family had no more patience or love or understanding for her, turned into a bat and flew off. Then everything went black again.
-
"Luke? Come on wake up, I'm scared." Mae shook him and began to cry.
-
Luke heard Mae's voice and sprun out of bed. "Well, it's confirmed. I can see everything!!!" Luke told her. "I just saw the past. And I know why Minerva's doing this! This has nothing to do with ruling a kingdom or being evil. But... It is a revenge story." Luke muttered.
-
Mae sighed in relief when he woke up.
"Revenge?" Mae asked. -
"Minerva was adopted as a child by the king and Queen. Because their daughter was too cowardly to do what she needed to be a leader. They adopted Minerva who was brave, kind, and graceful. Little did they know, she was a vampire." Luke told Mae. The beginning part of course was just assumptions that reasonably explained things. "The sisters got along great. But when they learnt she was a vampire, things got a little tense. Then she was getting ready for a ball. A Prince her age came in while she was getting dressed. He got very handsy and rough. So she had to defend herself." Luke told Mae. Pausing to take a drink of water.
-
"Minerva, brave, vampire, sisters, getting ready for the ball, prince came in, dressing up, defends herself." Mae said, "Okay, continue."
-
"So she bites him, purely out of defense. And he falls down dead. Suddenly, that tense feeling turns to pure fear and her sister is acting like Minerva was the stranger who barged into the room the got dressed in." Luke told Mae. "So she's trying to convince her sister there's nothing to be afraid of while battling a hammer of guilt and the awful taste of blood in her mouth. Then, her parents come in. And that's when the tension turns to anger." Luke told Mae, pausing again.
-
"Okay, so have any clue on why she killed my dad?" Mae asked, "You don't."
-
"Almost there!" Luke told Mae. "So. The prince attacked her, her parents walk in, she tries to explain what happened. They were okay with her being a vampire at first because she was their daughter. So as long as she hid it they could still love her. But now their reputation is on the line. So they order her to be excecuted. Minerva begs for understanding. She looks to her dear sister and best friend for help. Does she get any? No. All she gets is a girl who's acting like her parents saved her from a monster. So, in that sheer moment of fear, guilt, confusion, loneliness, and new found awareness... What is there to do but run away?" Luke told Mae. He drank more water because there was still more to tell.
-
"That doesn't sound like the real Minerva. But carry on." Mae smiled.
