Rapture has lost all of its known glory. The dystonia is in utter ruins. Many of its remaining people hide in the shadows, afraid of the ever-growing army of those addicted to the gene-altering substance, ADAM. This army, known as the Splicers, seem to have grown more violent over the years. These humans have lost their sanity and morals, resulting in a chaotic mess. However, people have found hope: people from the surface have arrived, those who have heard tales of the great Rapture from any who have escaped. Some have hopes of fixing Rapture; some wish to save the few sane people trapped down there. But no matter their personal goals, there's one thing everyone must keep in mind: They must work together to fight the Splicers and become heroes, or they will die and leave Rapture as nothing more than a story.

it's not much ;+; I apologize, I got really absorbed in reading about the game and learning the endings and such to make sure I made something that seemed like it would be good to rp off of
