She nodded and walked out happily. She felt herself morph and smirked before asking "how does my animal look, ladies?"

Everyone gasped and murmur went over the crowd. "Suits her" Some girls muttered. "This doesn't make sense" others muttered. Everyone muttered about the human as teachers settled them down. They were all a bit startled by both Ramona's entrance and by the fact she could turn human. "Ramona, you may now turn into Witch form and return to your seat." The principal instructed in a sweet but befuddled voice.

Ramona was confused as she checked her hand. Wait... Her hand? She hadn't changed into a animal? She looked in a puddle of water, screamed at her form and passed out. Wouldn't you?

Ramona's teachers quickly took her to the hospital and called her mother. Ramona's mother swore quietly and ran to the hospital. "Is she okay!?!" She asked. "Yes. She feinted from shock. She should be awake soon." The nurse sighed. After the teachers explained what happened, Ramona's mother sat beside her daughter and waited for Ramona to wake.

Raomona shot up and started screaming at her mom "HAD THE WATERFALL MADE ANY MISTAKES?! LIKE OR AM I LIKE A HUMAN?! OR.. OR..." she narrowed her eyes at her mother "the waterfall said I was a demi human and that's my animal now so..." She shrieked "YOU LIED ABOUT DAD?!" we she started to levitate

Her mother paused and hanged her head in shame. "Yes." She muttered. The nurses giggled and Ramona's mother growled and used a powerful wind to send them out of the room. Then a smaller wind to lock the door. "When I was just a little older than you, the tribe sent a team of explorers to investigate if the human world was safe for us to live in. I was a part of that team." Her mother began.

Ramona was still floating but much calmer as she crossed her legs, watching her mother curiously as she did her hair in a bun

"The humans thought we were performers. So we used that as our advantage and performed at carnivals. During my lunch break... I met a man who I fell in love with. I looked in his eyes and I knew he liked me too. He asked me on a date and I said yes. So I went to the store and I bought a wig, a pile of makeup, and contact lenses. And I disguised myself as human. We dated for a week. But then he saw me when I was washing my hands and saw I wasn't human. I explained my story to him and then I panicked and made the team return home. By the time I got back I realised I was pregnant with you..." Her mother explained in tears. "I didn't want you to know what a coward I was. I didn't want you to live your life mad at me... Because it was my fault you grew up without a father. I tried to tell him, once that he had a daughter... But I was too afraid... And that's the truth! I'm a coward, and that's why you never had a father!" She cried.

She calmed her mother down before standing up midair in a Superman style pose "ill go on a trip to the human world and I'll get more research! That way you won't make a mistake" she explained.

"What do you mean more research? The reason I fled from him was because we knew that humans were afraid of what's different. And they often act aggressively on that fear." Her mother replied. "But... I assume you want to go see your father." She sighed.

Ramona's mother gave her daughter a map to where her father lived. "I also marked hotels for you to stay in. You can't use your flight at night. So here's some money. It should be enough human money for three hotel nights, meals for a week, and human clothes." Her mother cheered.
