On the Planet Urion, there is a stone that powers the planet called 'The Stone of Hope'. This stone has powered the Planet for eons and nothing major has ever happened to it, until recently it was stolen by one of the Dark Ones. The Dark Ones are a secret underground cult that want to over-power Urion and take it over, but in order for that to happen they had to steal the stone. When the stone went missing, two warriors from Orion's army were sent to look for the stone. Will they fail on there quest to save Planet Orion or will they succeed?

Nick stood in front of the eight council members and he was shaking in his boots. This was the first time he had ever been called to do something for the 'leaders' of this great planet, but on some other worldly level that terrified him. As he stood there, he noticed another young gentlemen beside him. From the insignia that was on the young man's jacket, Nick could tell he was a Specialist. It wasn't uncommon for armies to have specialist's, but for Urion it was. Finally, after much debatable silence one of the elders began speaking. From what Nick understood, The Stone of Hope had been stolen and this made his heart race uncontrollably. That stone was the source of all power on Urion. If it wasn't returned, then the Planet could die. The elder continued to speak, spouting of things that Nick already knew until the elder mentioned the word 'mission'. "Uh, excuse me" he said, lifting his hand up like a kid that belonged in elementary school. The elder shook his head yes, a sign that Nick could speak. "He exactly are we going to do this? We have no pin-point location of where the stone is. As much as I want to go get it, I can't without a location." Nick folded his arms across his chest and looked at the council of elders. It looked as if they were having a debate on what to tell him and the other gentleman, when the young man beside him cleared his throat.

"It's probably that gang. What were they called? The Dark Ones?" Al said something for the first time since he's been there. He swept his hair behind his ear, which always fell over his face. It was a sign of nervousness. He didn't like all of this newfound attention on him. He may have been in the army but everyone gets nervous, army people just usually had a good way of hiding it. The council members nodded in agreement, then whispered accordingly, probably debating how much they should tell them. He didn't know the man beside him, he had probably seen him around before but they've never spoken. He noticed was a sergeant not only by the jacket, but the way he presented himself. AL had many questions about the stone. How long has it been missing? Surely they could've noticed sooner. How long 'til the people found out it was gone? He didn't say them out loud, for the council members were still configuring and he didn't want to come off rude or anything like that.

Nick didn't turn his head as the young man beside him spoke, but he did pay close attention to the words he said. When the Dark Ones were mentioned, his face fell. If this was because if them, there was a slim chance that they were ever going to get the stone back. As these thoughts and so many others jostled through his mind, the elders finally decided to speak. As they, Nick listened intently. They spoke spoke if a location where the stone might be held, but they weren't sure. The location was on the outskirts of Oasis Hideout. A place that most men who went there came back without there sanity intact. For a few moments, Nick was quite reluctant to even accept the mission that was before him and his partner, but he thought about the Planet and how it might be destroyed if they didn't do anything. "We accept this mission, but before we go we'll need supplies." Nick watched as the elders shuffled in their seats and he internally chuckled. He knew that if he could at least get supplies from the elders, he could possibly sneak his friends at base a battery pack or two, since they had laptops that needed to charge. As Nick thought about the deal he made with his friends before he was called to the office, he slightly shook his head. It was there fault that he was shoved into this predicament in the first place, but beggars couldn't be choosers. The elders agreed to supply them with the basics. Food, water, flashlights and even batteries. Nick rubbed his hands together in anticipation and smirked. This was going well so far.

Al was happy they could at least be supplied with basic items. He'd probably have to go back home and get a few things of his own. He made a mental list of things he needed. He would definitely have to bring a watch to keep up with time, everyday got being closer to being destroyed because that stone was way too important. He noticed Nick's reaction to the decision. Al glanced at him, slightly confused. He wanted to ask what that was all about, but maybe later. Al got up, ready to leave. The meeting was over, he guessed. They had all the information available to them and so they would just have to pack and get ready, hoping for the best. It was going to take more than hope to try and get the stone back but that's all they had right now, plus the minds of two great army soldiers. He didn't know a lot about the sergeant but he'd figure out a way to make this work. It was too important of a mission to just sit back and not do.

Nick made an about face and started to leave the room without the other male, but finally decided against it. Maybe if they got there supplies together they could be on there way to Oasis Hideout before nightfall, and that was for the best. Unknown creatures skirted about at night, even if it was this close to the city. Nick approached the Specialist and extended his right hand. The young male shook it with an aura of charisma about him, and that was something that was hard to find around here. "I'm Nick." he said, trying to smile, but failing terribly at it. "I was wondering if you would like to go get the supplies together. Just to make the trip a bit faster." As he waited for the young male to answer, he watched the elders get up from there places at the front and leave.

"I'm Alejandro," Al said, pronouncing the j as an h sound, "But my friends call me Al or JJ. So just call me Alejandro," he said jokingly as he shook his hand back. He did this whenever he was nervous or had nothing better to do, in this case all of the above. The more nervous the more cheesy. "And yeah that would be the best idea," he agreed, already ready to get out of there. He felt much safer away from the people that kept him safe, which had sort of a paradox to it. The elders just made him extremely nervous. Thinking back on this meeting, what didn't make him nervous? If he wasn't nervous, however, he'd probably question his own mental health. He was a brave person when he wanted to be, and he liked it that way. It was better than being too brave or not brave enough.
-
Nick smiled and looked at Alejandro with a smile on his face. "Alright, come on. I know where the supply room us and we should be in and out in no time." he said, shuffling from his left foot to his right. As Alejandro nodded, Nick started walking to the entrance of the building that they were in. The supplies weren't kept here. They were kept in a more confidential and secretive spot. It was so hidden that only few people knew about it (or so the elders thought). Nick reached the entrance door and pulled it open, letting Alejandro go outside before him. As Nick closed the door, he waved slightly to the people that were still inside and smirked. Some of them acted like they were so much better than him, by he couldn't care less. He was here to finish this mission and possibly save their sorry asses. As Nick looked around, he realized realized how far Alejandro was in front of him and took a deep breath as he started to jog. As he slowly caught up with the other young male, he listened to the soft thud his boots made while hitting the ground. To him, it was the best nose you could hear, but then again, so was silence.
