brightfire NoviceI want to choose who I soap with.
I'll try to be descriptive.
1.Muse 1 is an author desperate to get published. Muse 2 is a cynical publisher tired of authors who give him worthless books. Muse 1 had sent fifty copies of their books to muse 2 but he declined every one. Going to desperate measures, Muse 1 meets up with muse 2 to see if they can finally get published using some other strategies..

Plot 160: Sorted (submitted by Emmeline)
Muse A always knew they would end up in Slytherin. They came from a proud family, a long line that had been sorted into the same house for centuries, save for a cousin that no one talked about. When the day came to get on the train, Muse A found a compartment that held only Muse B. The two talked, shared their excitement, and bonded over what houses they wanted to be sorted to. By the time they reached the school, Muse A had Muse B convinced that they should be in Slytherin too, but the hat decided otherwise. While Muse A ended up in Slytherin, Muse B was most excited to learn everything they could, and was placed in Ravenclaw. Muse A, too proud to admit they were saddened by the sorting hats decision, simply turned to their housemates and began to chatter about all the food. They never saw the disappointed look on Muse Bs face.
Fast forward a few years, and Muse A hasnt talked to Muse B since. Muse B is top of the class, a fact which Muse A and their friends often joke about. The two get partnered together for a project, and Muse A is surprised to find that Muse B is the same clever person they met on the first train ride; they havent changed, and Muse A is intrigued. Their friends are quick to poke fun that the long-lost friends have been reunited, but Muse A just waves them off, only to realize that theyre right. From then on, Muse A sees Muse B everywhere. Muse B was there all along, but Muse A never noticed, and now that they have, they cant stop thinking about Muse B. The only thing stopping them from acting on their feelings is what their friends might say.

Plot 159: Actions Speak Louder (submitted by PT)
Muse A has always been the quiet type. Sweet-hearted but shy, they are liked by most but doesnt really have someone they can truly call a friend. They go about their daily life in mostly quiet, their coming and going never causing much notice. Enter Muse B. Muse B has been deaf since birth, and mute as a result. Despite this fact, Muse B lives louder than anyone Muse A has ever seen. Theyre vivacious and full of life- they never let no be the final say. The two begin to take notice of each other, but hit a brick wall when they realize they cannot communicate effectively. Muse B begins to teach Muse A how to sign, and their friendship begins to grow into something mere words cant describe.

Plot 158: Cuffing Season
Muse A is a police officer who doesnt exactly go by the book, in fact they probably spend more time cavorting with criminals than capturing them. When Muse A finds themself romantically entangled with Muse B, a criminal, its easy for them to turn a blind eye to Muse Bs illicit activities (especially when Muse Bs boss puts Muse A on a special payroll for keeping their business off police radar). Over time, Muse A is welcomed into Muse Bs crime family, so long as they leave their badge at home.
This year, Muse A is up for a promotion - its so close that they can taste it. If they can arrest a notorious boss, theyre certain that the promotion is theirs. No problem. Muse A can simply hand over one of their lovers enemies, right? As Muse A is scheming, the police chief calls a meeting. The chief unveils the newest person-of-interest, expressing in no uncertain terms that this is the perpetrator they want brought down next. Muse A is conflicted when they immediately recognize the person-of-interest as Muse Bs relative/boss, someone whom theyve sat across from at the dinner table on several occasions, someone very dear to their lover, someone who will go after everyone in Muse As family if theres even a suspicion of betrayal.
Optional: Give Muse A a suspicious partner, Muse C, for extra drama.

Plot 156: Good Grief (submitted by Emmeline)
Muse A has been an aspiring musician for years. They have finally hit it big; their music quickly climbing the charts, labels scrambling to sign them, screaming fans waiting outside venues. Muse A meets Muse B at an industry event, and the two hit it off immediately. Muse A invites Muse B out after the event, and they end up going home together afterward. As they continue to bump into one another at industry events over the next few weeks, the pair decides to act on their chemistry and try dating. It isnt long before they start to fall for each other, but Muse As rising fame sweeps them up, leaving Muse B behind while Muse A travels the world. Muse B does their best to deal with the distance and the insecurities that come along with dating a musician but, they finally reach their limit when a photo surfaces of Muse A kissing a fan after a show. Muse A expresses regret about the incident, but cant promise that theyll be 100% faithful while on tour. After a difficult talk, the two agree that they shouldnt be together right now, and theyll just have to see what happens when the tour is over. But when its time for Muse A to write their sophomore album, nothing is more inspiring than their relationship with Muse B. Their first single is released and its a break-up song thats all about missing Muse B.
Optional: Muse B is a radio host and their listeners keep calling and requesting the song.

Plot 146: Room for one More (credit to Venus)
Muse A has been looking for a place to live for awhile now, having recently moved out of their parents place, bunking with a friend here and there. After searching a few ads online, Muse A finds a nice place just within their budget. Even if Muse A has to share with two others, its a steal that they would regret passing up.
