ayeeeeeeee B)
As I strolled along, I found myself growing more and more accustomed to the nagging, biting cold. Though I was relatively cold, I did not worry and fret about it as much as I typically did. The night was treating everyone quite nicely, remaining constant as the minutes and seconds slowly passed. I found not another reason to complain, deciding that the more I focused on how I would rather be inside, the more frozen I seemed to become. By allowing myself to become immersed in the winter conditions, it was much easier to walk along the paths and back alleyways required to arrive at my home as quickly as possible. As I walked, I began to whistle, finding the plumes of foggy breath rather amusing. -
I lowered my head remembering my greater days, being free and recently able to venture out farther than my family had let me before, I was now stuck here, in human territory, trapped, I now knew never to trust humans, maybe even swipe one away with my claws immediately if one ever dares to come too close, the sudden and intense pangs of sadness made me get the sudden urge to let out a long, loud, low and sad sounding howl
-
The enjoyable moments spent in the happiness of myself were cut short by a depressing, mournful howl. My head shot up, my ears attempting to properly determine which direction the sound had originated. I found my stomach gurgling in fright, wondering what creature could have emitted such an awful, heart wrenching tone. I licked my lips, biting harshly onto the bottom one as my eyebrows knitted together. My eyes searched around, coming to no avail of spotting anything for the moment. I inhaled deeply, slowly sauntering around the area I was located in, swallowing anxiously every now and again as I feared what may come to greet me. Being cautious through staying relatively quiet, I stepped into a nearby alleyway, feeling as though I had come into the area that was required in order to find the creature. Rather than call in a potentially frightening tone, I attempted to mimic the sound I had picked up as closely as possible. I waited for a response, crossing my arms over my coat.

this alleyway was a lot longer and twisty and turny then the other more normal alleyways, but once the clearing was seen up ahead, there was a tall and large dome like building, it was almost like there was a huge area cleared out just for this building, which was strange and unexpected to see
I heard a sound out there that caught my attention, my ears perked up slightly so I could listen better, but then I realized it was a human, a human that was copying me, maybe taunting me since I was prisoned in here all chained up, anger suddenly filled me, humans really were nasty vile creatures, I let out a fierce and raged filled roar right in the direction I heard the human mimicking me in -
My heart stopped for a moment upon listening to the rather ferocious sound that followed my howl. It made my head tilt rather quickly, my feet cementing themselves into place in the spot the I stood. I swallowed, crossing my arms with squinted, suspicious eyes. Now, I'm not implying that I assumed it was an alien or something along those lines, but it's roar was not reminiscent of anything that I was used to. These included lions, tigers, dogs, wolves, and even cats. This particular creature, wherever it was, was absolutely disparate from anything I had ever been granted the opportunity of meeting. I continued to step along, my ears tuning in for even the smallest bit of information that would aid my discovering of the animal. "It's okay," I called, "I wanna help you, wherever you are." I spoke in a very calm, soothing tone, hoping that even if it happened to be a dog, cat, or wolf, it would begin to feel comfortable with my presence. "Hereeee, little one." I clapped my hands like two cymbals, vying for the loudest possible thing I was capable of.
