Perhaps this plot, whenever you are back?
Two best friends, C1 and C2, have heard of a relatively fun circus attraction that is finally making it's way into their town. With a traveling circus, anything can go wrong. Animals can be unaccounted for, merchandise can be destroyed, but what if the workers themselves have been replaced with individuals much more sinister? When C1 and C2 make the journey to where the circus fun is set up, they are surprised to find that they are the only customers save for a young girl and what appears to be her older brother (perhaps we can each player our character and one of them?). As the fun ensues, the clowns come to do their part of the show, when they offer a challenge to the patrons.
Kill one another, or be killed by the clowns.
C1 and C2 obviously want no part of killing each other or the kind siblings that have joined them, so escape is their only option. The four must work together, saving each other at each unruly turn in order to survive. It's kill or be killed, and only time may tell what each person chooses.
