Maddie sat down at the dinner table putting on a fake smile because she was angry for waiting for too long. She wanted to eat pizza but skipped ate ice-cream.

"Attention! All authors please wait back stage for the award ceremony!!!" The host, now in human form, announced.

Maddie used her napkin to wipe her mouth. She stood up gently and walked to backstage. She was later busy talking to other famous authors.

Maddie was excited and while running to grab a chair she bumped into the waiter who was serving drinks and got wet. She gulped and the waiter apologised severally

"You can take a break sir. We will have the award ceremony soon! My partner will run it! First, I'd love to talk to Miss. Jones!" The host cheered, signaling to another room.

Maddie stumped with rage into the bathroom and looked at the mirror and hissed at herself "I'm so unlucky today" Maddie couldn't take it anymore she cried in the bathroom

"Miss. Jones? Are you okay?" The host asked through the door. "I'd like to talk about your book when you're done in there." He told her.

"I'm not ok! Your stupid waiter spilled wine on my dress!" Maddie said with anger, she realised she might have a bad image if she keeps up with the bad attitude "I mean, I'll be out in a minute!" she replied again

The host sighed. He put a charm on the buildings water to take out her stain.
