Lo watched people walk by. She saw a girl her age rubbing her lips on a boy's. "What are they doing?" She asked.

"kissing" he said pretty quick

Lo watched them for a while. "What is kissing?" She asked.

"it's pressing ones lips against someone else's" he said pointing to his lips when he said lips

Lo didn't understand... It seemed weird, but also seemed exciting to see the two people kiss. "Why?" She asked.

"it's a sign of love" he said with a sad little sigh

"Love?" She repeated. The word had a nice sound. The word was also familiar, but she never heard it before... "Do you have love?" She asked.

"...kinda..." He said after a while of silence

"Jack! Dinner!" A woman's voice called. "A parents?" Lo asked.

"a parent"he said jumping from the tree and running towards his mom
